It's also hard to tell if they are just a lurker or not.
maybe it wouldn't be terrible having a spy here...? He/She might realize how great we are and join us!!!
And would then be a double agent!

speaking of which, what was the problem?

If we were to solve this diophantine equation, we would easily have the roots of n: xy+x(x-1)=n x2+xy-x=n with y=0, it is simply the square root of n+x. y=1 always gives the square root of n. y=2 always gives the square root of n-x. y=3 always gives the square root of
Now then, assume that f(x)=x2+xy-x=n. Let us try n=221 first. It's factors are p=13 and q=17, where pq=221=n. Now, f(p)=n and f(q)=n. In f(x), there is a y variable. With f(p), y=(q-p+1), and with f(q), y=(p-q+1) So the question is, how to solve it as a diophantine equation.
Anyone have any experience with diophantine equations? (Please don't post links to wikipedia)

They did it because of Ndless. I just don't think anyone will say that.

plz let him be for real and not stalling me!!! (praying)
He should be, because he sent it to the devs. (Or at least said he would) I do think you will get an e-mail back. The question is, will it be what we want?

Look, the first e-mail is always pointless, because they are required to send it to try and solve your problems. It's just their policy.

I understand that new features will require a new OS, but that still does not explain why I cannot downgrade to a lower OS if I choose. Please help me downgrade my OS, unless there is a valid reason I should not.
Thank you.

It looks amazing. (Considering it's running just like an OS would) Also, how easy is it to compile against the kernel? Is it like C, asm, or what? Can I help with development? And, last question, will the demo include the kernel separately?

Can I test it? Please.
I am glad that that you are releasing the kernel as well. How easy will it be to program an OS with the kernel? Also, are all programs compatible with the kernel be compatible with every OS? Also, DJ mentioned a screenshot, and I couldn't seem to find one in this topic.

We seem to be getting a lot of new threads about xkcd lately. I think it would be better if we merge them.

Welcome! Enjoy your peanuts, and take care to watch out for Rick Astley, oh and Blue Lobsters.
In other words, don't click on links, because most of them are rick-rolls, and by blue lobster, he means Netham45. Welcome to omnimaga.

raycasting or mode 7 would be the best. But how would you set up routines to handle it?

Oh, and the first e-mail you get will be no help at all, just reply to it. They are required to try everything they can to solve your technical problems, and so they must send the first e-mail to see if that helps you or not.

Actually, 4/7 days. But yeah, Monday is probably when you'll get a reply.

no. they won't care. they will just give some excuse. also, it's 1.1 and there is a news article about how to remove downgrade protection. (new on this site. hint: click news at the top)
