Wow, Lua does seem to be a nice new avenue for people to program in. So:
Con: 3.0 basically screws up your calc
Pro: We discovered Lua.

Yep, that balances out quit nicely.

Lua / Re: Relative speed of Lua?

Also, I hate TI hating linux. :( Not supported :P

I know what you mean! I run linux on all of my computers except for one that runs windows. The only thing I use windows for is nspireLink, notepad for lua and LUAtoTNS.... I sometimes wish I had a mac that I could dual boot linux OSX
I do! And windows as well!  Which is very fun, b/c the most I've ever run is one virtualized windows, one virtualized linux, mac native, netbeans and safari.  I love spaces too...

Whoa, Quadruple post.  This actually looks pretty good!

I'm not sure I understand all ...
How can I receive a byte ?
Well, with an arduino, you'd have to have it confirm a byte.  If I had a secondary calculator, I could log the data going from one to another.  Unfortunately I don't, so Quigibo will have to tell about his routine. (Or I guess I could disassemble it)

http://xkcd.com/435/ This one is in my physics class room, I bet my teacher didn't notice the alt-text ::)
Lol, I'd hope note.

And yeah, my watch is set to the second as well.  Which is very useful with classes you don't like.

Westell A90-9100EM15-10 is my router
My parents don't know the login for my router. How do I find it?

You reset it.  There is literally no other way.  Or at least, none that I know of.  I still suggest you have something else host it, but that's just because you might have trouble with security and such on your home network, and it can make your bill go up.

TI Z80 / Re: CalCup : a coffee maker link to your calc ...

I would just get an arduino uno (Considering you can't program a mini, IIRC, unless you have an FTDI cable).  You have to realize, though, although this would be cool, many people wouldn't use it everyday.  Of course, that's not to say you shouldn't continue it, but for your own reasons, not necessarily for other users. Plus, this seems to be very coffee pot-specific, too.  I would say, continue it as a project for yourself, but not necessarily for everyone else.

Also, The Send( and Get( commands won't work, unless you have the arduino acknowledge them like another calc.  You'll have to talk to quigibo about the exact specs of that.

It was not really a block error (Axe would say it), but a 'End' was at the bad place, so calling the program AXELIB made close the main program.
That's what a block error is.  When the number of Ends, and the number of statements that need Ends like If, or whatever, don't match up.

News / Re: Warning about OS 3.0.1 destroying calcs

Has anyone considered the long term price for us keeping circumventing their protections without the RSA keys?  I mean seriously, they keep trying to lock it down with any means possible.  We need another OS or something.

Windows 7 32 bit Home Premuim

I set up an address now what do I do
What type of router/connection do you have?  Is it ethernet, wireless, linksys, etc.  Essentially, log into the router (like 192.168.1.1 on my network), and set up a port that way.  To make sure dynDNS is working first, go to another computer inside the network, and try to access your site via the dyndns name.  This should work inside your network.  If not, make sure that the computer is on the network, and that dyndns is updating.

If I run the apache server on my computer how do other people get to it?
Is it through my IP address? if so which one(LAN or WAN)
Oh dear me.  There's some things you don't want to mess with.  This might just be one of them.  Essentially, and depending on how your network is set up, you open a port in the router to access your website.  They can access via IP, If it has a static IP.  Your router will probably configure it with DHCP, and you'll probably have a local IP and your network will share the same global IP.  At least, that's how mine is set up. (I don't have the port on my firewall open, though)

Essentially, you can do something like dynDNS to get a domain name for free, and run a client that automatically updates it's IP.  If you open the port in your router, you're pretty much set to go.  Not that I would advise this, mind you, because of security and uptime issues, not to mention that the cost is probably more if people are accessing your network, and you're having to send a lot more data than you usually do.

This would be pretty interesting, but I don't know if Java is going to be enough to get me to get a prizm with ubercalc coming out.  We shall see.  Anyway, nice to see some good progress!
