Colors good! Well, not the current ones. I think it should be based on whether you are admin/cot/anti-riot/lobster. Also, we need to have an acronym for that. caral? maybe?

So it's not RSA encrypted? That's good, as it means we could possibly change the OS, correct?

Anime and Manga / Re: Favorite Openings / Endings [Make sure you comment on others!]« on: April 15, 2011, 09:57:15 pm »
No, actually, because I haven't been watching the fillers. I'm guessing there going to do something new and totally pretend Ichigo has powers. Speaking of the Manga... Are you keping up with it? The Manga for Naruto and Bleach are both epic right now. I think I'll wait till I am like 10 episodes behind, and I'll start watching bleach again. Thanks for the opening!
EDIT: Also, did you hear Ao no exorcist is getting an anime? I'm so excited!!! 365

Miscellaneous / Re: Tutoring« on: April 15, 2011, 09:48:22 pm »
I have tutored students in the past, and can say it's really helpful for some kids to get a little extra one on one time with someone who understands it as well. I dare say it doesn't replace a teacher, but it helps when the student is totally lost in a classroom, and the teacher can't necessarily take the time to deal with that one student.
I also find it helps sometimes because they will see mistakes that you've made, that you "know" are right. I've also noticed that most kids who "aren't smart" actually think drastically different from the average person. For example, one kid a friend of mine tutored actually wrote his numbers in a different stroke order. But not just like a normal stroke order. He'd essentially write most of them in reverse. e.g. from bottom to top with a 1. It was interesting watching how he knew the stuff, he just didn't have a good way to grasp what he was told. With a tutor, you have the opportunity to learn about the student, and learn how he/she thinks. So TL;DR, I think tutors are necessary, although I've never needed one on anything but to help with my handwriting, and that was a favor from someone in my family. 367
Other / Re: Fixing a String« on: April 14, 2011, 10:04:09 pm »Strange. I guess we don't have a computer help sub-forum. Yeah, I guess this works. Now to see if Scout fixed the issue and got it working. But see the line number column. 17 has a huge gap after itAh, I see that now. Then why is this in Computer Programming? Thanks Deep Thought. 368

Miscellaneous / Re: Favorite font« on: April 14, 2011, 06:28:20 pm »My favorite font is Cloister Black. For various reasons.Oh yeah, I know the significance. I wouldn't be a fan if I didn't. Apparently Omnimaga doesn't like that font, though. But yeah, I figured that font, I just never new the name of it. 372
Other / Re: Fixing a String« on: April 14, 2011, 06:22:26 pm »
Write a quick java program to remove all the line breaks. Pretty easily achieved just reading a file in, checking for the characters (like \n) that should not be written out, and writing out the rest.
