It just draws a grid on a single JPanel.

Especially since there will be boundaries for any other object. (e.g. a frame around the box or panel or whatever you use). 679

Sorry and thanks for the setLocationRelativeTo thingno problem. I've seen workarounds adding JFrames to other JFrames by doing some weird stuff, but it's usually not necessary. 680

You can't add a JFrame to another JFrame like that. In fact, you never really want to do that. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
As for setting the window at the center, I believe it is setLocationRelativeTo(null). 681
UberGraphX / Re: Project Paradise - Ubercalculator« on: March 10, 2011, 11:54:54 pm »@graphmastur: I'm pretty sure others could help fund the project before summer starts. You can order one at the end of the year if you'd like then. Also, I read that part you quoted from their FAQ. That's why I kind of was thinking the site aims for art or film projects.Okay, your decision. I'm like 85% getting one of these, it's just money + time atm. 682
General Calculator Help / Re: Asylum« on: March 10, 2011, 09:01:05 pm »Anybody know how to chop up strings with Axe? The strings are space delineated....Chop up in what way? With axe, just start at the beginning, stop when you hit 0 (end of string), and return a subset when you encounter a 0x20 (ascii for a space). Essentially, you would hold the current start position, and set a counter to 0. Then, add one to the counter until you hit a space. Then use the start position and length to copy it or use it however you want to. 683

So, get your older and younger brother to join. The nice thing about this is, that if one of you gets banned, the other brothers/sisters will take care of it because they can't get on Omnimaga. Sweet.

Okay, at least it's resolved quickly. Just as a rule of thumb, don't get into religious debates with people on the internet. It never ends up well. I'm a Christian too, so it's not like I don't want to hear your opinion. But there are certain ways to do things that still show the love of Christ. Now then, off my little pedestal and... yeah. How do I end a post like this?
.... Meh. |
