So the face looks kinda weird.  I assume it is supposed to be grayscale.

You could essentially make the U_calls like b_calls from Axe with hex.

Look at http://brandonw.net/svn/calcstuff/blue8x/trunk/usb8x.inc at the very bottom at U_Call and U_call_init.

How do you know they removed the byte?

ASM / Re: Assemblex - Flash Application Hello World
« on: February 04, 2011, 10:51:56 am »
In order to try and test a new feature for Assemblex, I'd like to know how to create an application that displays HELLO WORLD.

I can do it in Axe easily, but I want the Assembly code. Also, can someone tell me a bit about header.asm/etc. files needed to code a flash application?
Well, PutS doesn't work in apps, so your going to have to use PutC in your own function like PutSApp.  Also the header file is very important.  TI has a header application you can use.

Sounds awesome!  I can't wait for switches. ;D

I second the request for the #define command. :)

What would it do?
Defines stuff.  No, seriously, it just defines stuff as existing.  It's a strange command, to me.  It has some interesting uses, though.

I'm assuming that you will go over how to create a cross-compiler for C?  Java might be a little much, unless the ARM processor supports it natively.

@qazz42 LOL
1214: You set your computer to automatically go to omnimaga at startup and search for new posts
1215: Your computer periodically takes a snapshot of the entire education.ti.com site in case TI accidentally releases important information.
I didn't think ti ever released important information aren't you supposed to find that out yourself

Yeah, there were certain cases. TI once released a pack of PDFs explaining some of the undocumented features ("Unsupported Info") but got rid of it soon after.
Didn't they release OS 0.46, too?
yep, the one with math support.

No, your supposed to use your calc as a calc like a good little human. ;-)

Miscellaneous / Re: Lengthy time to find one ASM error

Me? I spent about half a year or more in a USB code with Apple's iokit (Used to access devices like USB), and couldn't figure out why it showed a device was there, but then stalled and said it wasn't there, but then said it was there again, until I added a like .05 sec pause between writing and reading.

Introduce Yourself! / Re: HI!
« on: February 03, 2011, 07:32:39 am »
Hey! That's not a bit! That's a byte :P (just playin')
Fine, I take away a byte:
Code: [Select]
Pause "HELLO WORLD!
Wouldn't that be two bytes? Because the newline is a byte.
Yes, indeed.

i did this in hope that i can put my pic as the cake(the cake is a lie).
I don't remember how many, but on this forum, to prevent spam and bots, we require at lest so many posts to do certain things.  For example, you can't use OmnomIRC until you have 20 posts.  Editing your profile is one of those things.  I think it comes after 5 posts.  Oh, posts in Randomness and Introduce Yourself topics do not increase post count.

How open will this be? Will you document EVERYTHING?  Also, how does the flash chip and such work? Do you have to erase entire sectors of stuff to get it to flip a 1 bit to a 0 bit?

Also, I'm most interested in the USB.  Will this be a OTG port to support host mode?  Or, can you do a standard A-female plug in there?

I sent an e-mail to them.  They did not answer my last e-mail, so I hope things go better this time! :)

Allready? Thanks! :)

I wonder if they have a black list of people they should not answer to...
probably.  Most likely we're all on it.

Hopefully wifi.  I'd be interested in buying it if it wasn't too expensive.  What's the cheapest you think you can get it?
