how would that go against the copyright?

1. The Ti-Nspire, Texas Instruments current “in style” calculator has just recently updated the operating system to OS v2.1.  At the same time, preventing the installation of “any and all” previous operating systems.  About 2 weeks later, outraged N-spire users finished a program  that exploits a problem with TI-Nspire Clickpads. The problem lies in the order of activation in the restarting the OS.  Running the program on the computer and following a few simple instructions, allows you to install whatever operating system you want.  What took years to make by TI, only took two weeks to undo.

2. Texas Instruments has always been proud of their calculators for providing the best educational software they could.  When the Ti-Nspire came out, TI focused on the making and sharing of documents that students could make and share.  So why have they left out something they have had in previous calculators that opened up 3rd party educational program?  Texas Instruments decided not to put any native asm (assembly) support, even though most commands are used in the operating system.  After some time however, brilliant programmers developed a program named N-Leash. N-Leash opens all native asm commands for programs to use.

I don't think TI-Boy is dead.  I remember calc84 talking about updates he was makeing to it a few weeks back.  Also, this was backuped on calc84's flash drive, so it was not lost when his computer crashed.
thank god it wasn't lost

good luck on digesting your sustenance.
I will bend the truth here and there. (os 2.53MP broke many programs made by ti for ti.)

What were the prices for ti-84 10 yrs ago?

price went up for old tech.

I know i am double posting, but it feels like a more appropriate way to start this topic.

For my assignment i chose to do the  wonders of ti.  (more like blunders)

Post anything about ti or ti calculators that really pisses you off.
Please keep it with in these for calculators;
* ti-83+ series
*ti-nspire

or anything about costumer cares.  I know alot of us have complaining to do.

Edit:

* Ti-Nspire: os 2.1
           prevents from downgrading.
           Unlockable with n-leash

* Ti-Nspire: no native asm support

the more dispgraphs the faster it goes.
If you mean the grayscale refresh, yes. If you mean the program execution, no. In Super Sonic Ball, if I add grayscale then run a for loop executing dispgraphr 100 times, there will be a considerable drop in speed

ya i meant for grayscale refresh.

My gf and i were having a wonderful night together. We had just finished eating and decided to go for a walk outside. Eventually we lay down together on the grass, staring at the sky.
She said: "the moon is beautiful tonight, isnt it."

"THAT'S NO MOON!"
I sprinted back to the car, started it, and began to drive away...

explain plz
