Small numbers seem to have some sort of theme in life.  I remember how people started calling the Swine Flu an "epidemic" after it killed something like 5 out of a population of a few million...

And I wonder what difference they thought it would make using all caps, lol

H1N1 was huge though.  I had a sever case and it was extremely bad.
A couple of points.
* It was a killer, but as all countries were more prepared, few died.
* It caught quickly, spread quickly, and affected quickly.  Thus hospitals were in serious trouble.
* The only reason it didn't seem as bad as it was made out to be is because it affected people fast enough that they didn't have much time to spread it.

Yeah, maybe I went too far...
Few people have the guts to say that.  I find that admirable.

Cleverbot sucks. It's not an amazing feat of engineering or anything, it just has a large pool of responses generated from online users than any calculator program has
Its not what it is, it is the PoC.  Think about how hard it is for the computer to understand the language itself and respond in kind.  Of course it has problems, but that is because it is a Toy more than anything else.  Ever watch Toy Story?

Rating is kinda borked cause everything I say is going to get rated by a majority and if I say anything controversial or counter-cultural here it could be interpreted as trolling.... but bad! Back on topic! Yeah! This bill sucks and will never make it.
Borked?

Oh well :p
If you say anything "controversial or counter-cultural"  it often helps to have a smily (or any other face :/ ) with it to show what you are trying to say.

Our government (US) is stupid.
We are screwed.  might i point out the biggest piece of evidence....

when election time comes closer, candidates for elections cyber bully more than all the children in the world put together.

maybe it tries to factor the Nspire's RSA keys in the backround

Or how about a game that has quality sound and needs the speed?

Because it is quite a complicated suggestion.
Really... wow BB.  why didn't you just say that first.....

New idea: have all programs run an RSA cracker for Nspire in Backround, and have it take control of your calc if it cracks it.

How about an RGP then?  Many don't have more than one moving character in most parts of the game.  Like Poke'mon w/o people walking in random directions.

I feel as though i just won :D.  At least untill you respond :P

I was merely making an example.

but just to prove you wrong... :p

how about a target shooting game where the whole screen would on;y be updated if 2nd was pressed.

I guess i am not making much sense.

When I am just screwing around with concepts, i do scrolling with drawing 8*8 sprites and using horizontal +/-
With my quick, easy, ugly, and small (source) style, the 8 left and 8 right pixels are messed up.

About the speed change... I was kinda just saying that in general, for small parts of the screen updating, it would be faster. imagine a cross hair... "+" (4 by 4) .  if everything but it couldn't move, and the cross hair could only move one or two pixel(s), you could just update an 8*8 section of the screen at key presses getkey(1-4)
