I fiddled with this one to.
I made some slight changes and improvements, but nothing major.

* fixed game so you couldn't run in on yourself.
* You can choose what direction you are facing at beginning.
* Optimized of course :P
* Ya that's about it.

I will post the source sometime soon.
I also request for someone to skim the code for optimizations i may have missed.

Wowzers this is old.  I will be updating this soon.  (when i get a chance for transfers)

* I twiddled with the concept of barricades.
* I made spawning to different locations.
* It is about over 9000 times smoother and better :P
*bullets are faster than humans.

I really need someone to fix my collision routine.
It will lag out if there is a bullet in the game and your y value ='s the bullets y value :P.
I will give candy to someone who helps (not really about the candy :P)

could you use a program to extract the section containing the sprites?  You could make the sprite database (uncompiled) in a program?

Just an fyi, that doesn't work on all schools -- I tried, on mine.

that is called a proxy :P

oh! i forgot to mention.  Most schools block sites by using a proxy!  what that means is that if you don't use it, then you are free.
Here is what you do... go to http://portableapps.com/
Download either FF or Chrome to your flash drive.  (and make sure the default for proxies is none)
run at school.

It's weird how the red flags are set up at our school.  (not sure terminology to use so i say red flags)

There was a kid who looked up |*0rn every day in class without getting in trouble for it. :/
Our school isn't very lenient,  I just know what lines not to cross. :P


and no one said "holy necropost batman!"  or was it not long enough necro?
