Ok, if you are running a laptop, you must have noticed that the more things you have running, the faster your battery goes.
I have been screwing around allot lately (learning) and I have found out quite a bit.

Irrelevant stuffs.
* If your MineCraft dedicated server goes down for over 5 min, you will get a mass amount of texts worrying about the end of the world.
* Firefox uses almost no memory next to chrome :P

Ok what I really was going to say.
The best way to check what is taking up power on you computer is by checking taskmanger (crtl, shift, and esc)  The set "Memory (Private Working Set)" to be from most to least.
You may notice that windows explorer is in the top 5!
For me it generally takes 60,000K memory thingy (for fun terms :D)
We all need to browse windows, but that is a heck load if you are just internet browsing, watching a movie, playing a game, or pretty much anything. I have one that will save 50,000K.

 Solution
1.  Open command prompt (you could alternately make a script to run a batch file once an hour).
2.  open task manager.
3.  end the process for explorer.exe
4.  OMG EVERYTHING IS GONE (kinda calming isn't it?)
5.  In Command Prompt type "explorer.exe /D C:\Windows"
6.  Your desktop hasn't returned but you may now browse your computer as you wish.

Sidenote: if you screw up and exit out of both cmd and windows explorer, don't fret, just log out and log back in.
Another sidenote: Don't do this if you want more than 6 windows open, as they are separate processes now.

I have started porting this today.
That doesn't even slightly mean I will program it for 2 player on calc.  It just meants i was screwing around too see what I should know to start.

How about 2 plyer haxball.  It seems realistic.
Then with the squid cord thing you could have up to 8 players?

*cough* Japanese font.

I tried and failed quite a bit.
Maybe a text parsing program?
That could go along with it so it wouldn't adjust normal calc use.

I fudged the truth a bit, but....

Spoiler For Email:
Hello Mario Carbajal, my name is James Oldiges.

For quite a while my friends and I have been big fans of Haxball and the entertainment it brings.
I have set up a very rudimentary server for Haxball, meaning that I just leave the internet open in a Haxball room.
Many communities such as Omnimaga, a calculator programming community, have taken great interest in Haxball and have regular games together.  Do to the variety of locations people live, getting a set time together can be rather difficult because of the time zones.  We have calculated that I am just about dead center of where everyone lives.  Because we don't know when everyone will be on, people periodically check to see if anyone (from Omnimaga) is playing.  This works quite well as I leave the room open 24/7, but it takes quite a toll on my laptop from overheating and memory usage.  Internet browsers in general take allot of power to run constantly, having tested IE8, IE9, FF 3.6, FF 4.0, and Google Chrome.  Are there any intentions on creating a server program or anything of the like, that would just connect to Haxball or the hosting computer?  If not, do you know of any way that would be more efficient for me to host a room?

Thank you for your time,
                    -James Oldiges.  Education Fanatic.

so noone can think of a more efficient way for me to host?

Sorry, but Haxball seems to force people to nolonger host after 3 or so days.

Well, this might not completly work out :(.  I still haven't run for 48 hours to report if it will cause issues :P.

For my server, I am just leaving IE9 open on haxball.  Unfortunatly it uses 90,000K memory (Task Manager)  and that is a little rediculous in my opinion.  Is there a way I can use less memory?  I tried to see if I could download the game alone so I wouldn't have IE9 waste memory, but I failed.  Any suggestions?
