You could add an "export" button which puts the data in the clipboard, and then you would open another "save" file which has an import function (fetches out of the clipboard). You can then easily read the data then if the save file is a library document (using math.eval). Sad thing that you can't edit them

What happens here is that on.charIn get called everytime you press a character key. We then add the character to the variable msg and invalidate the screen. Because we invalidated the screen, on.paint() gets called and displays the string on the screen

Yes, you can. But most likely you will need a rs232 level converter for that, in order too hook your nspire to your computer.

If you actually replaced the file on your calculator, they will be gone. If you have the both files on your calculator (with a different name), you still can get your work out.

68k basic is very advanced, you can do a ton with it (I wish my older brother didn't lose his projects, it would have amazed the world) Nspire Lua is great, and is more powerfull than 68k basic, and I love it I want a mix of a TI-92 plus and a Nspire!
