Couldn't this be meant for the 84+ emulator on the current nspire?
Maybe they will add more programming functionalities to the CX, and take them from the nspire.

I hope so.
I've already seen tablet for 98€, but then they are just a piece of junk that run android.
It would be better to spend a little more for something that will be 10 times more usefull.

Android application are programmed in Java (a variant of it, but much the same). Looks like this will be one nice little tablet

I think it would be a good idea to create an omniurl.tk link to the rules, for example omniurl.tk/rules. You could then replace the ugly link in the irc status with the new one (and also the link that Jarvis gives). It will then be more clear and more easy to understand what that link does (especially for new users).

Scout, did you install wx using the package manager? If so, you probably installed only the compiled libraries, and not the development libs. The latest wx dev version in the package manager is 2.8, so I don't know if it will work with what you already have installed. But you can always try. To install all the wx development libs: sudo apt-get install libwxgtk2.8-devNow try compiling it again. Hope it works.

If you don't want it, just uninstall it.
And due to most people using windows, it is a good idea to have it installed. Also, the nspire emulator's linux companion isn't up to date enough to work well, so it's best to use the wine version.
Most TI things don't have much linux support, except for TiLP2 so it's best to make this OS give you as many options as possible.
Oh, ok. I don't know much about the nspire stuff, so I'll let you guys decide about that. Also, the nspire reminds me about casio calcs. Maybe you could include some software those calculators? I don't know much about these calcs either, just giving some ideas

I don't hate wine, sometimes use it myself, but must it be installed by default in this distro?
Most calculator programs have a Linux port, or something alike.
The only program I haven't found (but I haven't really looked) a version for Linux is CalcCapture.

Tiemu is cross platform, you can run it on anything (ok, ok, you can't run in on a z80 calc).
