Maybe, but as I wrote in my last post it wouldn't be very effective :D

Do they make use of enough threads ? :P
That's actually one of the reasons I use Chromium on my computer, because (my computer is not that fast) pages regularly freeze and that causes the entire browser to hang.

Currently there is zero support for CSS. I'm going to add it, but just take a moment to think how complex all that stuff is ;)

Nice Adriweb. You should mix it with mathboxes for pretty print :D

Hmm, very interesting.

Also, if this would be against CAS on non CAS, it wouldn't be very effective, as someone would make a tool to patch the phoenix.raw since it's not encrypted.
Or TI was just not thinking that far.

Wow, I thought that the copper pad going under the NOR chip was missing. But it looks like I'm wrong :D

Maybe it's the kernel driver that has problems. Or libusb, but I don't think libusb should have any problem as the kernel provides the USB support.
Maybe you can find something interesting in dmesg ?

I thought libti supported all platforms...

It is, but it might be harder for me to provide support for platforms I don't work on. Having two versions guarantees support :)
Yes, it works wirelessly if you have the dongle and nRemote ;)

Lua / Look what my Nspire can do
« on: September 13, 2012, 06:01:12 pm »
Over the last few days I've worked together with Adriweb to bring the web to our Nspire's.

Here is our first major result:

What you see here is my Nspire requesting a webpage. The PC responds, and sends the data to my handheld.
There a web browser I created parses the html and displays it.
It's entire coded in Lua, and the heavy parsing work is al on calc. No Ndless here :)

The PC side is built with libti*, but Adrien is integrating the stuff into nRemote, so all platforms are supported.

So, what do you think ?

The TI-Nspire still shares much design with the devices, for example with the Navigator stuff.
So it wasn't all for nothing :)

Okay, the first two issues are solved.
The third will be done soon.
I'll see about the others later.

I like the fonts much more. It makes reading much better and doesn't hurt my eyes anymore.

News / Re: LuaZM v0.1 Beta Released
« on: September 11, 2012, 06:20:24 am »
I've been working on a compatibility layer for LuaZM that allows you to run Nspire games on the Prizm (although I don't know how it will be speedwise).
It's itsn't done yet, as debugging certain things isn't so easy for me as I don't have a Prizm :P

http://ourl.ca/12289 contains some details on how to use that script.
Shouldn't be too hard to follow :)
