@Lionel, aeTIos Okay, I see your point there. Indeed, it would be nice to have some other key input stuff. For example, you can not catch many ctrl-[a-z] keys. A bit annoying, if you want to assign hotkey's to certain things.
Nick, in a sense you can run non event based stuff on a TI-Nspire. I've developed a small program to do that, and it works pretty good. Just did not have much time to work on it.

Direct input in what sense ?

Nick, don't forget to localize functions you use a lot. This can give a big speed gain.

Yes, that is true.

The syntax is very similar, it will be not too hard to port programs. But Love has certain functions that can not be created easily in the Nspire API. It would be possible how to create a runner that runs simple love games (in pure lua). Edit: it would be definitely possible if you get some help of extLua

I don't think they knew about it. The release was already postponed to solve some issues .. so I think they would not have released it if they knew about it. The people (who are on a pretty high level with TI) did not know about the bug, and they already fixed some of the ones we reported.

If TI tested 3.2, wouldn't it be apparent on some level that it is much slower than 3.1. And if that is true, does that indicate that TI doesn't do much testing but counts on the customer to find their screw ups for them, for free of course. That's the only way I can understand why the os updates are constantly flawed, and I wonder how math teachers have time to do things like develope lesson plans when they are constantly reacting to new os bugs and other hardware issues if they use nspires to teach. The thing is, TI let's many teachers beta test the software so I have no idea how this could not be noticed. Anyway, you are right. They shouldn't depend on teachers/others to test it.

It is the Disp function that is the problem. How more arguments how slower. TI is aware of the issue and looking into it.

Ok I'm glad it is useful, and it will become even better in the future. Also, don't hesitate to report any function that doesn't work the same as on the TI-Nspire.

You can add a "-v" if you want more debug info. Also, you can add print functions to your code, to debug stuff. You get the "starting" twice, because the loader is actually an application too

Ah, I just checked. You need to add "--console" to the parameters of love in windows.

I should make a program to run these programs on a TI-Nspire. Shouldn't be too hard.

Lol ^^ Also, if you code with PCspire or the new SDK it's more easy to debug (You need to run PCspire from a console for that)

Ah, don't worry about it I have send some benchmarks to TI regarding this bug a couple of days ago, and they are looking into it.
