You can create Library documents (you have to place them in the folder MyLib). The functions inside will be available to other documents then under the name docname\funcname(). I think the nspire manual has more about this topic

I am sad  but I may be able to build one... or just buy one. Well there are a few tools that aren't ported to the 3.1 os. After I acquire this tool will I need any other hardware?(as far as I can tell no) but thank you all for the warm welcomes
Nop, the only thing you might need are some little cables to hook it up to your nspire. And what tools do you need? If you mention them, someone might port it/them to 3.1

Sadly enough it isn't the correct serial cable.
This cable is USB <--> Standard serial, the voltage is too high for the nspire to handle.
You need a TTL version of it. You can make it yourself, or buy one.
They are mostly marketed as FDTI adapters, and cost about $12.

Do you have "-nostdlib" in your makefile? If not, you are compiling with newlib.
Of course, I don't have that much experience in this area, so I might be wrong.

Do you need to inlucde newlib? It might be better to do without, you will have less problems (but also less functions).

Just take a look at the example nRGBLib program's source, it's quite clear.
It also shows how to draw sprites IIRC.

Try to see if you can start in safe mode (press f8 during boot).
If it works, try to remove some standard installed programs that you don't need at all.
Then try to go back in normal mode
