Well, the warning is most likely wrong. If its infected, ticalc.org would be too.

It should work on any Nspire, if hoffa does it correctly (and I don't doubt that)

Well, Ndless is focusing on C, but you can get a C++ compiler to work: http://blog.tangrs.id.au/?p=712 . If the program only uses SDL libraries and hoffa finished this one, it should compile fine without any changes. (I think)

Ah I ruled out an emulator because of what Kerm said: Barely related, but if there's one complaint I have with the Prizm, it's the lack of a decent emulator that makes me have to take these @#%^ manual photographs.

For javascript, you shouldn't have to worry about stack or memory issues, so a simple recursive flood-fill would be best. This one is much too slow to be worthwhile for any system that can handle recursive/stack-based flood-fills.
Ah, mine is recursive. Thanks for the information anyway

Hmm, maybe I should rewrite my JavaScript minesweeper to use a better algorithm. I just made mine form scratch, so its probably not efficient.

If you want to port gEdit, you will have to port over 9000 of other stuff (like gtk) to get it work

There is already an editor in progress by shrear ( http://ourl.ca/86790). It supports C/Lua syntax highlighting IIRC.

But why would you create an editor for HTML and other stuff on the Nspire? The keyboard is horrible and its much easier to do it on a computer. Well, I guess it might be handy for people that never have access to a computer and don't need a web browser to test stuff

If some would reverse engineer the Nspire wifi dongle (that means the person has to have one), you could make a browser using Ndless. But the dongle's are very expensive and hardly anyone here has the time to do something like this. If the USB protocol was figured out, using normal wifi dongles might work. But then again extremely much work must be put in it. Unless there is someone willing to spend hours and hours on this, there is not much chance that it will happen

I'm currently backing up the old forums, in case they go down. Fixing the url isn't such a hard thing anyway, I have done harder stuff Also, those "Linux" dates are just seconds since epoch (January 1, 1970). PHP et all have very good support for this
