I had an idea about starcraft for TI83+/84+/SE, using xLib. It will be Turn-based tho, and more like RPG tactics and such. So each player starts with a base and 4 workers. When the worker is on the mineral or gas extractor, you have an option to 'mine' which will mine whatever price balancing requires. You can make a total of about 5 moves each turn, and once the unit moves/takes action, it cannot be used again. You may group up to 3 attacking units of same kind and move them around and attack as a group, and count as one action (workers can be grouped and moved around but only 1 will mine/build each action). Attacking happens like the usual RPG tactics, and the defending unit will be able to attack back if it is possible (within range). The building/unit will cap at around 30~50 for the memory sake. I don't know, it's just an idea I got thinking about TLM's tactics battle, http://ourl.ca/360950#lastPostand will not work on it right at this moment, but what do you guys think?

Okay here is the screenshot for the side scrolling in action. btw [ * ] is supposed to be a portal that will bring you to other parts of the map, like forest, desert, other cities, etc.

I don't know if this post belongs here, but anyway, I am making a math program. Anyone taking AP Calculus AB right now? I am learning about Derivatives (which pretty much is what AP calculus is about) So I wanted to program on TI 84 that if I input the function (even with trig functions) the program will give me the derivative.
I am very far into it. the program gives me the derivative as long as there's one function and doesn't have trig function in it. But the problem is that I have no idea how im going to do with trig function. Also, it is still buggy with the roots sign.
And it doesn't yet know how to combine like terms.
I will upload it as soon as I can~

I am thinking of buying TI 89, but found out that there are 4 versions of TI 89. TI 89 and TI 89 titanium, and TI 89 has HW1 & HW2 TI 89 Titanium has HW3 & HW4 I was wondering which one is the best, in terms of coding/games available, and compatible. It seems like some TI 89T is not compatible with assembly games, and also there is the patch and stuff, but I would like to know for sure before i go out and buy one ^^

This is more of a request. My friend wants to get Drug wars in her calculator. I tried to find it on ticalc, and on google, but i can't find it. do you guys know of any site that has drug wars??? or if anyone has it, can they upload it? i don't know if uploading will cause problems (like uploading without author's permission) or not...

While coding TLM, I have problem trying to make events detection, like running into NPC and they start talking, running into door and they open, etc... I use matrix, but the thing is that if there's a lot of events going on, there's too much memory consumption. Like, the NPC has to talk about the quest when it's appropriate, and when you go into the door, it must get to right house, etc. How would you do that???

I was thinking about making a Tamagochi for the calculator. It's probably only for the TI 84+ since it will use the internal clock. I't just idea, what do you guys think?

I want to create a RPG game with side scrolling map with ASCII. (for my project Tale of the Lost Map) I would like to be in pure BASIC, and doesn't know how to do it... Does it work? without ASM help? It would be best if it is fast, and small in size. Like 50x50 or more? because that doesn't work with matrix, and I don't know any other way of doing it.

The first graphical RPG by me! This is 100% BASIC graphical RPG that I am attempting. Still a long way to go, and still haven't decided on how battle system is going to work - either turn-based or real-time.
