Hey guys, yeah it's a super necropost... But I just wanted to let you guys know that I kinda picked up on the coding again, and I'm working on the battle system, the one that actually made me halt the progress because I was having so much trouble with them. I got a huge inspiration from the Tales of Destiny (although I never played it, I got the inspiration from watching the gameplay video)

Working on the GUI at the moment, and I realized how rusty my programming skill is x.x I already have in mind how the whole battle is going to be like, so I won't have another indecisive moments where I wouldn't be sure what I was coding.

Hi guys, uhh long time no see :P
I don't have much of an excuse, except that somehow, whenever I tried to sit down to program, I just didn't have inspiration to keep going... So there was little to update, and then I began to frequent even more less, and one day, (like in the middle of July) I kind of stopped visiting.
But I really hope to come back when I settle into college, and work on it

I personally like the sound of Archeowyrm, I've always liked and was fascinated by the Old English terms and such. Just sounds cool to me :) And it gives some break from so many of generic names. Also, Archeowyrm just sounds really powerful and boss-like, while Twin-Serpent sounds more like a monster that might just pop out from the random water or something.
Just my thought tho, and it's mostly your choice, Zera

but remember that some schools (mostly prestigious schools like MIT, Yale, Harvard) don't take the Score Choice; rather, they look at all the scores.
And for longer essays, it is possible but if it is out of topic and irrelevant, then the length will have negative effect on the score too.

Do you know what your essay score was specifically? (from scale of 0~12)
General tip tho: they like the essay when you can back it off with a classical book or two :)
And in my point of view, the essay topic will be somewhere around there, just an average topic, not too hard, not too easy

Working more with sprites, I've turned them into 4-level grayscale, and made few more sprites.

Now, I intend to work on HUD and hopefully then I'll have decent screenshot :P

In the subroutine DR, before Pt-On(, put ClrDraw for, well, clearing the screen, and after Pt-On(, put DispGraph so the sprites show after you've drawn them. And see if it works

I have to start coding the actual game to see if it will be real time or turn based, but I hope to have it real time.
I'm trying to familiar myself with the new Axe that has been coming out (like the gamma release with all the new commands), so coding will start soon :)
But first, I wanna make a HUD so that I will know how it's gonna look like, so it's easier to code, that's why I've been making sprites

Okay, a bit of update.

I started drawing sprites, and I've uploaded sprites for buildings. They are 16x16

House       Warehouse    Granary          Marketplace

Barrack      Palace          Statehouse     Command Center

I've tried to keep them more of medieval time period, but Command Center came off as a bit futuristic :P
The Command Center is supposed to look like a circular building with windows all over.

For "NO", why don't you align with the other stats like attack, etc.?
IMHO it might look better, but it's really your choice :P just throwing out the idea

otherwise, it looks awesome! Great job!
