What I generally do is put ProjectNameX X being the version number (like 1,2,3,4,5...) So for TLM I would go like, TLM1 TLM2 (delete TLM1) TLM3 (delete TLM2) and so on. For other projects I do the same thing

wow, that seems pretty small o.o My map files are huge The map programs have to contain both 8x16 String and Matrix for each map

After around 120 or 125 points, it says that the difficulty will be harder, which means everything becomes faster. So I'm guessing there are total of 4 games and it just gets harder and harder as you progress...

I usually use 0->Ymin:62->Ymax... Nowadays, some of the inverted coordinates comes natural and the harder ones I just need to subtract the number from 62... I don't like working with negatives too much

Wasn't this done in Metroid Pure Basic Version in the menu, except it was being off-set 1 pixel diagonal?

Isn't there also m3 for volume? (cube meter)
That's what we often used in physics classes over here besides liters
I'm also treating operations (all operations, not just exponents) separately.
Actually, that's the part that stumped me when I first made this program a year ago. I could get multiplication and implied multiplication working fine, but not division, exponents, or parentheses. Do you think I should just simplify things by including squares and cubes as units on their own?
What I did with exponents is that for 2 and 3 or any kind of roots, I would change them to "^2" or "^3" or "^(1/2)" etc. If I had your program and my calculator, I would be able to help you more... I don't know exactly how your program works

EDIT: Just thought of something: The newest version of WabbitEmu supports exporting variables, right?
Well, I never used that feature so, I don't know for sure You can post whatever you have until the time you'll be able to upload and I'll try to pick it up from there

I'll try to help. I tried to make the BASIC program that gives the derivative using string. Although I didn't finish it, developing it helped me understand a lot about strings and doing math stuff with the string. But I don't have my calc atm, and will be able to help you after around mid-June.

wait, but if you make the game with patched OS and do not close the parenthesis, and you give that game to another person who does not have the patched OS, doesn't that mean the person receiving the game will notice the slow down? So this defeats the whole purpose unless the whole community gets the patched OS... It looks like everyone needs to be "vaccinated" with BrandonW's program

I don't really like the first one, since it doesn't have optical drive (which means I have to buy the hardware to run the thing or something that can abstract and run the ISO image) and that's a hassle... the lenovo 410 looks pretty nice, I'd go for that one in terms of all around features. If you already own a pc of some sort though, I might go for the mac. They're supposed to be pretty nice and it'd be fun to be able to play with one for free (they are fairly pricey).
No, I don't own any pc of my own... btw, another alternative is: My friend wants a mac because he does the video editing and stuff. He has a toshiba (with 15' screen and numpad so it's pretty big) with windows 7. I'm not too sure about the specifics because he doesn't know exactly what model it is... So what he suggested is that I get the mac and trade with him. I'm going over to his house tomorrow so I'll try to get the specifics. I know that he bought it fairly recent (around 5 months max) and the only problem Toshiba has is that the DVD driver is not working. He said if I'm going to trade mac with his, he'll fix the driver problem before he gives his Toshiba to me. Hopefully it will be a good deal (btw, his laptop was only $500, because it was on special sale or something like that... But that kind of worries me, because the laptop from the college are all around $1000, so I might be getting a bad end of the deal)
