I think Zera pretty much clarified questions by DJ... Also do you know if the same Korean language is used between both North and South Korea?
And yes, we do use same language, although some vocabularies are a bit different (North Koreans use more of ancient vocabulary from the history, whereas South Koreans use more of modern vocabulary) we will understand each other without too much problem tho. We were separated for only around 60 years, not too long to separate language apart. Aaah ok, thanks for clarifying. And yeah I like how they can stack letters together. It can make text much smaller.
Oh also, although the text will be smaller, it won't be hard to read, because there are only 24 basic letters in Korean. 14 consonants and 10 vowels (we consider the 'Y' sound as in "Yes" as vowels) So even if the text is small, because there are only finite number of combination, and also because you kind of 'know' what the letter should be, there never has been any problem arising from translated games. But I always wonder how Chinese distinguish between so many similar-looking characters (IIRC they have over 70000 characters, although only around 5000 are used in daily life... but still, 5000 )

Wow! awesome job! I was having some trouble calling an event when you are standing on certain spot X.X May be I can learn from your codes hehe. Btw, I can't remember if you stated this but how are you doing the collision detection? Are you using pixel check? Because Elmgon seem to be about the same speed as TLM, or may be even faster, and you have pet system too. And I think I asked this before, how big is the program so far? With all the strings for the map, I'm pretty sure it's getting big, isn't it? wow really nice and the text boxes fits very well, I really love the platformer RPG concept. I wish there were more of those. Nice job Thank you. I'd like to mention my biggest inspirations for this, in order were Illusiat 13, Serenity, and Metroid Pi.
My inspiration for TLM was from Metroid Pi, Serenity, and Blue Platform ^^ Anyways, keep up the good work!

yeah I was thinking more toward the Lenovo T410... It has biggest screen and pretty good graphics and speed... It was just a bit ugly (most of lenovo's laptops are)

On graph screen, it might be possible, using pixel check, although the program that checks this will be pretty big and slow... On homescreen, I can't think of any ways that would achieve this

I found it hard to learn any kind of foreign language, unless I really needed to use them. For example, in Korea, everyone, starting from like 2 or 3rd grade (in elemetary school), learn how English as part of the second-language thing, but I always failed, barely getting above 50 -_-;; But when I came to U.S., only knowing ABC, I manage to get a decent grade in the 6th grade public school and be able to talk with native speakers... So at least for me, forcing you to learn the language and speak them was the easiest way to learn the language...

After finishing all the AP tests, I found myself faced with the finals, presentations, and other works given by the teachers... Also, my friend burrowed my calculator because he lost his (and he's one of my best friend, so I couldn't refuse. I do math with TI 89). So atm, there's no progress...
