Miscellaneous / Re: Decisions, Decisions, Decisions...

Yeah, I do the charity works in school and my church. You guys know the Christmas Operation? I help in the school to collect the toys and such, and donate the toys. I would do a charity work, except that right now, I feel like I want something for myself (I really don't own any electronics except calculator, a mp3 player that somehow doesn't work on left ear. heck, I don't even own my own computer/laptop).
Although I will give some of this money for offering to my church as I tend to do when I get large sum of money (at least, $300 is really a lot to me because I'm still a high school student and I don't work)

A) Google is your friend, but it appears to easily filter that content. You may have some luck if you spend enough effort searching for the files. Be wise when trying to figure out the OS file names.
My best friends are WGS. Wiki, Google, and Sparknotes :)
btw, is it okay to post the link of the google that shows the link to the place you can download to? like, using lmgtfy (let me google that for you)?
It wouldn't directly send you to download page, but it would make people easier to find a place to download. And I just don't mean google, but through other search engine as well, since google does seem to block these kind of things.

it seems like the 16GB is out of line, they don't make them anymore :( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod_Touch#Hardware
That would have been the best choice. So, it's 32GB then. Thanks guys^^ I hope I enjoy my itouch.

Okay, now that I know I want to buy itouch, what itouch should I get? I really don't want to spend all $300 for itouch, because I want to save some money for other things to do (like watch movie, buy apps when I get itouch, etc.) Seeing that the prices are for 8GB $200 and 32GB $300, is it better to just buy 32GB? I heard from others that 8GB is enough to do whatever you want, but it seems like i phone OS 4 won't run in 8GB.
And 32GB seems wayyy too big for my use anyways. What kind of itouch do you guys use, if you use one?
FYI, I would rather not buy them from ebay or any other online site, but with cash from the store, since I don't have credit card and I can't trust sites such as ebay for these kind of stuff)

Ooohhh! I remember this game!!! I played it when I was really young, like 5~6 years old.
I used to love this game. I didn't know the name of the game, and in Korea, I used to call it "Farting Car game" because the screen smoke reminded me of the fart^^
Good luck on this!

If you look here
it says that Starcraft is closed-source. Also, Pandora can't run Wine  :'(
The other games does seem to be pretty good^^ I know many games are in development for Pandora. So hopefully these games will run under Pandora.

Wait... if you set the AI as defender, it won't do anything. I haven't coded for defender yet. Right now, I'm figuring out the way to optimize the attacker's AI.

The game is supposed to work when both players are set to AI, and I want them to play differently. And the king's throne will be in another release (I already fixed it, but I want the defender's AI to be working)

My thought:
Since the pandora won't come out until, at least December (according to their website and forum) I get the itouch, and next year, I get pandora? I'm loving pandora more and more, but it seems to be too early in status to have much fun (there are only about 4 released games so far). And the poll does seem to be favoring itouch, and thank you guys for the votes. And Eeems, that actually was $1.20 (20 cents + 100 for inflation)^^ lol

I really would like to run starcraft on pandora tho. That would be epic win!!! But it seems like pandora can't run Windows games :( and starcraft is not open-source

Okay, so unexpectedly, I got $300 at my disposal. So I'm deciding what to buy... either ipad, itouch, or pandora.
I don't have a phone (but probably will get one after i graduate, in 2 months), and my mp3 is getting old, so that's in consideration.
I want something that I can connect to internet (which, all of them does have through wifi, although with ipad, you can also get 3G networking with extra money), play music, video, and game. Which one seems to be the most reasonable and affordable, and also stable?
I think itouch is most stable, then ipad, and last pandora (correct me if I'm wrong  :P
Then comes the memory... Pandora, 512MB Flash, 256 RAM. But it says I can get storage memory upto 64GB using SDHC card, but idk if the card comes with the product, or I have to buy it? and how much is it if I do have to buy it?
With ipad, it goes, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB Flash, and itouch is 8GB, 32GB, and 64GB.
Processors are:
Pandora - Texas Instruments OMAP3530 processor at 600MHz
ipad - 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip
and i can't find itouch's processor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and what's the pros and cons of these products?

ASM / Re: ASM Delvar - Clean and free up from BASIC variables
« on: April 17, 2010, 02:06:57 pm »
ahh okay. Yeah, it's something about searching through the whole program list to find the asm program, right? So if you have a lot of programs, than it takes long time to load the program... Got it^^

Even two 83+ calcs could have different quality between each others.
Is it because of difference in hardware? Did TI change the hardware during the production of TI83+ just like what they did with the extra ram page in TI84+SE? Anyways, good luck on fixing the greyscale, Quigibo!

I think since this is assembly, it will be faster? And I'm also curious about if it deletes archived vars.

Within the game loop, It will be like,

:If 2=L1(1  ;If the user-selected is TI-83+SE/84+(SE)
:rand(3      ;slows the speed

Otherwise, the game will be the same. I don't think there will be speed setting though, it's just 2 different speed, one for 83+ and other one for other calcs.
