Well, what I was thinking was that when the user runs the program for the first time, (known by having Factory list or not) then they are prompted to choose the calc model and saved to the list. Throughout the game, TI 83+ will not have any speed restriction and other models will have them (like using rand function). They can change the mode in the option menu if they selected incorrect model or something like that.

Here's the post.The only thing I need to do is make the achievement section. Also, I want to try to optimize the program, so it runs faster. I gave the factory series to my friend who has TI 83+, but it was way too slow to be any fun. May be make the option menu for the user to choose which calc they are using?

I have a volunteer meeting on friday evenings. And I totally agree with {AP}. Also, I usually post in the school, through school's computer At home, I usually either code, read stuff (I'm trying to learn asm once again) or just sleep X.X Just plain old routine -_-;; So friday's a bit different, when my friends can actually hang out (I'm usually free but my friends are not until fridays). So I go to their house, get something to eat, etc.

oh yeah, the factory. lol I totally forgot about it I hope to finish this within a week, and start working on TLM again. I think I did pretty well on the exams. I don't have anything major now, except AP tests given on May.

I haven't been working on this from last update. I had bunch of tests from school, including Calculus, English, Biology, etc. So I was busy writing math programs for Calculus (downloading programs from ticalc and modifying them to fit into my use) and studying English and Bio. I will resume working on this starting from today.

Wow, nice! The speed seems reasonable. Does it get faster as you play the game? One thing though, is that I don't like how there's a blank line right next to the border. Wouldn't it be better of there were no gaps between the blocks and the border line? Just my thought... btw, I like how the block solidifies when it hits bottom^^ It would be cool if we can add items. that would be awesome O.o
Oh, and looking at the key, I think [Alpha] is a better key for the drop than [Del]. You might make a mistake and press [mode] and accidentally quit the game.

Builderboy is god of TI-Basic, while Calc84maniac is god of asm. Anyways, I also am curious of the speed and design for both theUnnamed and Builderboy's tetris. I can't seem to think of a fast way to do it top of my head

I think for most of the war based games, the units are permadeath. As long as the unit is not some kind of hero... Btw, can the units move? If they can, then is it going to be tile-based? How big the battlefield will be? Is there going to be maximum units you can deploy? Sorry for all these questions, I know it's a bit early in development stage, but I'm really interested in how this will turn up My favorite games are usually these kind of tactical war games, RTS, etc.

instring( is a good operation that can do that. http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/instringI personally am sick of bugs making hnefatafl AI... They had so much bugs -_-;;; Still not done debugging I personally use Pause to see where the error occurs, and counting ends. Although many times, I miscount End because I overlooked some area. When the conditionals get too complicated, I write the code on paper, and connect the Loop with End.

Wow! great job! It seems it loads pretty fast^^ It must have been a pain writing all the data and height -_-;;

I did that, but somehow, it didn't let me upload. It was like, Hnefatafl zip file 1 but still, i couldn't, and I don't think I can change the name of the 8xg file, else doesn't it get corrupted?

There's a bit of a quirk in the rules: When black moved to 4F, the white piece against the throne wasn't captured. It should have been.
Any piece positioned against the throne (regardless of whether the king is occupying it or not) is captured when an opposing piece positions itself to the opposite side.
Yeah, I know about the rule. I was aware of this, and I have to fix the capturing. I fixed some more bugs, and looking for speed optimization. Hopefully the AI can get down to around 10 seconds

What sucks is that I have H model -_-;; It kind of sucks when you are just out of reach to all the stuff you can do with the extra ram
