I played this game when it first came out and I actually love it! I still play it from time to time. The only real problem I encountered was that sometimes it would flash (like refreshing the screen) (FYI: I own TI84+SE w/o extra ram) and I would get lose... and looking at the screenshot, did you change the score system? I thought 10:50:100:500 was too big score growth. Your 50:100 seems to be more reasonable. And I am willing to be the beta tester ^^
Edit: BTW, welcome to Omnimaga!!!!
on the side note, I liked Puyo Puyo too!

yeah, I won't let TLM die~ I'm still working on the data and the storyline. I really need to get the attack formula, defense formula, and such first before I go on with the battle system. Right now, the battle does nothing...

lmao it is pretty old game, originally made for DOS in 1996 i believe... The gameplay is pretty nice and original, and there are adventures where you explore 4 areas and fight monsters and stuff. Although to some people the Japanese version was considered as Hentai(there were somewhat nudity involved, as with most of the other Gainax), SoftEgg translated it and fixed some images to be regarded as Teens game... http://princessmaker.maison-otaku.net/princess.htmA information page

Uhm... for some reasons, the name reminds me that japaneese game that got banned over here where you are a pedo who have to rape as many kids as possible. Hoping this game is not the same, I guess it could maybe be a good idea
It is not... It's simulation/RPG where you are a warrior hero who defeats Prince of Darkness and in return receives a girl from god, and you must raise her from age 10 to 18 and when she's 18, there are 74 endings (jobs she'll get) depending on the stats you have...

I remember loooooong time ago, when I was still in Korea, I played Princess Maker 2. I fell in love with the game, and played on and on, for months and years. Now, I am thinking about porting the game into z80. I don't think it was ever done or even attempted, although I could be wrong. Anyway, I found a Korean website that hacked into the PM2 file and found out most of the formulas and stats for the item. I'll use that and try to make the game as close to the real game as possible, although I must use my imagination to fill in few gaps. The thing I need is the graphics tho... I don't think it would be really fun without the child. May be use grayscale if possible, using asm lib. I'm thinking of ASCII graphics to do the adventure stuff, since it's going to take a lot of space if I try to do it with any other method...
So any questions or suggestions???

I think instead of filling stamina when not moving, wouldn't it be better to fill it up when moving? Since this is RPG and not action-based, players can definitely take advantage of that and leave the calc for 5 min or so, and come back with full stamina to play.

How about getting some stamina back after certain time? like may be moving 10 tiles will heal 5 stamina or something...

yeah... it is kinda confusing to read it, since it wasn't in publishable form when Tolkien wrote this... anyway, I would love to find out what will happen to Escheron!

well, since this story will influence a lot of what the characters do, I probably will incorporate it within the game... And not at the beginning of the game. I want something like, the character doesn't know anything, but discovers what happened in creation of the world and through that users get to know the whole storyline... i think i kind of worded in confusing way :S

Writing the whole storyline for the game... It's going to be complex with non-linear story... I'm about to write the whole history of the land (I haven't even named the land yet...) starting from the Creation of the whole world, since the storyline will actually involve gods and stuff... or at least that's what I am visualizing.
