TI Z80 / Theta Fourteen« on: July 16, 2006, 03:16:00 pm »
CDI, I enjoy your ascii games a lot. I do not understand completely why you are using xLIB with this though :? , as you could use a different asm lib which is smaller (since you most likely will not be using the sprite routines?). Idk, I like your xLIB theta14 >.> . I still enjoy all of your works, I guess you will be making more use of xLIB with this program .

TI-BASIC / [83+ BASIC] Rotating matix data...« on: July 15, 2006, 06:11:00 pm »
I think it would only work effeciently by going through the entire matix and rotating it. It wouldn't be too hard to make a rotating point, if you would like I could show some code for one.

TI-BASIC / [83+ xLIB] Walking sprites with Xlib« on: July 12, 2006, 09:13:00 am »
I dont like doing idle, but for chips if I want to make it orginal....I will have to *gasp*! , but all in all just a regular movement way would be simpler.
That is using getkey and not real(8 like in xLIB, since you only need four way movement it would be just as easy. If you wanted to do 8 way movement it would be a little bigger, but just as fast. And if you want to make it have hit detection (aka, if you can walk onto a tile or not like a wall tile you would make it look at the matic first before the move). If you want to see how to do the tile test and what not, let us know and someone will post a code snippet. CDIs is great, but it is a little more complicated that just four way movement (using the same sprite). 1154

Many forums have this type of thread, where you can post your sig/avatar or anything and people will rate it or suggest things to improve. Well these are mine, and I sill want to learn to make better ones, so if you could rate and suggest things for it .
