TI Z80 / Falldown Ripoff

Yeah, it's faster on calc of course. But it's really hard to do the full line on fast speed :Ptongue.gif...I was thinking of making it have several lines, but it would be too hard to play in basic. The ball wouldn't be moving fast enough.

That looks really good there, maybe make the life bar move left to right like in ACRPG set thing :Ptongue.gif j/k. I think it looks fine there, how did you draw the sprites back then?

TI Z80 / Falldown Ripoff

I had a crappy version of falldown I made a little over a year ago, and I decided to update it and make a better version. Any suggestions would be great.

About: Falldown Ripoff is a ripoff of Falldown by Patrick Davidson. I haven't updated this in a long time, so I decided to make this more like Patrick's. There are settings that will let you change the speed and size of each bar, also when selecting the difficulty you can set it to 9 and it will be randomly generated bar sizes.

This is a old and new SS.

TI Z80 / MazesNow
« on: April 20, 2006, 06:03:00 am »
I wanted to let you guys know I updated this game with another level and optimized it more, I find it useful if anyone needs to learn how to use strings as levels. If you have any suggestions let me know, or just pm me if you want.

About: MazesNow! Yes this is a maze game. This is a game using Ascii graphics to navigate through four mazes. It runs smooth and fast, and doesn't take up much space. Updated, pack it all into one program which helps the speed go up and number of programs go down. Added a bonus level for the final release.

He is a SS, it is the old one but I didn't want to show the new level..Lets see who can beat it first! :Dbiggrin.gif

Yeah, string will compress and be faster to some degree. Unless you have to convert string->Matrix.. I hope to see you online tonight, I can suggest something.

Delete the extra " mark, and it should work. Is it using an asm lib?

Did anyone try it out yet? What was the resulting program? And could you post the program which was converted?
