TI-Nspire / Re: Nspire Raycaster« on: April 02, 2010, 06:08:04 pm »Your raycaster engine looks really, really awesome, bwang! Are you planning to implement columns of variable height? About the floor and ceiling textures: Maybe using low resolution for the floor/ceiling textures could reduce the slowdown significantly? When i see this (and the GB emu) already available for the nSpire i get tempted to buy a nSpire and start program for it 5
General Calculator Help / Re: Build a 2.5mm - 2.5mm cable?« on: April 02, 2010, 05:58:03 pm »I am not sure how the link port on the Ti-83 is physically implemented, but: It might be that you need a crossover cable to get the communication working. That is if the link port is using a RX/TX scheme, like RS232 (That means that the two calcs sends their data on separate wires). That means that you might need to swap two of the connections. One of the connections is ground, this must be left as it is. I'll see if i can find more specific information for you later today. 6

Other Calculators / TI 89 or 89 Ti???« on: November 25, 2007, 12:22:00 pm »The Titanium is better than the regular Ti-89. It has much more archive memory, so you can fit more games and programs on it. It is also a bit faster. And it has a USB port As for the algebra and calculus i don't think there is any difference between the two models... 11
