I'm assuming no, since Axe doesn't work natively with decimals. Also, for smaller questions like these maybe you want to post them in the Axe Q&A thread here?

I thought somepony already got the entirety of the Chipmunk fysix engine to run on the Prizm - I might be wrong though.

Hey guys, I'm pretty bad with animation, so I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out a bit.
Here's what I'm going after - I made a quick mockup in paint. Basically, the arms and legs should be moving in a walking fashion. 16x16 spritesheet, any help is welcome! ![]() 277
General Discussion / Re: What time signature is that song?« on: April 14, 2012, 03:35:54 pm »speaking of time signature, I have a question. What's the difference between 3/4 and 6/8? It's mostly a stylistic thing. Generally, we count 3/4 with 3 beats (each beat a quarter note) and we count 6/8 with 2 beats (each beat 3 8th notes). 278

I personally think the gravity is set a bit too high - if you look at the actual game the fysix are a bit floatier.

TI-Nspire / Re: Minicraft / Terraria clone« on: April 10, 2012, 11:49:33 pm »
I know in Terraria it's more like any tiles around you or a light source show up, and those that don't fade to black.

I don't think field of view should present too much of a problem - it may even help reduce the number of sprites to be drawn if you do it right.

I suppose you could use bit arithmetic with a pointer to a Pt-Get('ed sprite. I'm not too clear on how that would work though.

Well, at this point I think that this is just a knee-jerk post without any real substance. Maybe if the OP could post some actual content instead of just making us bump this every few minutes?

Sometimes I think designing levels is much harder than programming the game itself

Ndless / Re: Retro TV effect for Nspire« on: March 31, 2012, 12:06:00 am »
To make it look a bit cooler, you can try making the screen image fade to white while scaling down vertically, and at the last bit make it scale slower and stretch horizontally a little.

Yeah, I used a similar method in Graviter, so that I could reduce the number of tile types and thus have more compression.
