No, it's not like grey-scale because you can just make the whole screen blue or nothing. (I use the contrast-commands from xlib ) And yes, the demo also includes this feature - check out the intro! Oh, I'm sorry - the game doesn't really work yet because the game doesn't check if you catch the other snake - but this is already included so that I'll just have to upload it so you can test it. -I'll inform you here when a new version is available. p.s.: Why did you remove CDI's post??? lolje

Note: This is a finished ProjectSo this is the Official Snake-Hunters-discussion-Thread First of all; Snake Hunters is no classic Snake game. The major game-objects is that one Snake has to catch another one - on different maps which will probably be saved in Pics. The game uses xLIB (for speed and some effects) and you'll also see some blue lightnings (Not on *unmodified* 83+ calcs because the LCD is different o.o ). *Note: *xlib required* - plz install first Check the Readme for help! The latest version (1.0) (with some kind of a bot) is included as an attachment

its Label MB - just type 'Goto MB' into the first line, start it, press [ON] and pick 'GOTO'. Then you should find it...

I found out (with the help of xLIB: real(14 ) that it wastes nearly 200 bytes everytime you just open the main-building and then leave... holy shit - Does anyone know the reason!? maybe it's the long if-statements e.g. If G=92:Then:*Huge Code*:End However, I'll try to fix that - you can look forward to a more bug-free game without memory-errors (In mirage it would just turn off ) btw I'm just integrating some research-stuff lolje

+ xLIB (look forward to a lot of effects and graphical menus!) I know this is not the right place to post it but I don't have so much time to start another game topic right now - here the title  (It's not looking exactly like that - the background is not as good as shown here - but it's the same picture; just in 4-level greyscale.) no discussion about that here plz If you are interested - A new topic 'll come soon (with a better demo)... lolje

I formated the two most popular lotr-backgrounds into 96*64, so you can use it as background for your title. (I would recommend that you create this with rigview!): http://home.arcor.de/lolje/bg%20eye.jpghttp://home.arcor.de/lolje/bg%20ring.jpgIf I were you I would take the one with the ring because the quality (in grey!) is a LOT of better as the quality of the eye! I hope that can help you (you don't have to hurry, the study has first priority - but I think this is clear for you) lolje

thx for the congrats bythe way I just began working on a 2-player game called 'Snake Hunters'. A (veeeeeeery beta) demo is availble on home.arcor.de/lolje... This does not mean that I stop coding on Aoc, it also still needs some stuff being included.

B) oh yea sounds really fantastic... But - please don't make ot run like Link's Awakening - maybe you could always have 4 filled screens scrolling and then draw a new map. This is (with xlib) sooo easy and I think it owuld also be a good thing to have it running this way. Oh, I would recommend you do all in 1-3 programs (Write any part to include in a new program and then use the Recall-command to paste the part into the main prog!) Well, when you do some stuff while having a acceptable speed - so far it looks w000ty - keep up da work! lolje
