292. You hand-optimize axe parser output.

No, it's not that, basically, sdcc was underdeveloped. An sich, C isn't bad, but with bad compilers and no standard libraries, it's a bit of a PITA.

I doubt that his parents are the only factor involved, but it's speculation anyway... Since he didn't want to go into details (see earlier this topic), I guess we mustn't speculate too much :P Who knows what weird stuff we'll end up inventing.

I think you should say somewhere that IX and HL are always mutually exclusive. There is no instruction that can take HL and IX as its arguments.  (so you can't do add hl,ix)

Darn, not again...

I have a hunch that the problem does not lie in the calculator sites. Strength.

Maybe I could just brush up on my C, and then cross-compile calcRogue to the Z80 :P

j/k (sdcc is bad)

ret (C9) in asm is pretty similar to Return in BASIC, (and Axe, it seems).

I'm not that impressed, but then again, my brother is on his way to become a professional pianist, so... :D

(I'm not saying that this is bad, just that I've heard moar good stuff in my life :P )

OK:
Coding is slow when you have to clean up first, and you can only code in relatively short intervals, but at least I managed to get something done.

I've coded (not debugged) the base for the inventory/items system. I'll synthesize the inventory display next, and then go into debugging. I'll keep ya posted.

DigiTan is working on it, I believe. (I have hardly been at UTI since their update)

I was confident you would eventually restore things after yesterday. Have some good rest and everything will be OK, no doubt.

Miscellaneous / Re: Forums inactivity
« on: June 17, 2010, 11:49:43 am »
At ti-wereld we get like 5 posts a day  during exam periods, and strangely, 2/day during normal periods  :D. The explanation is obvious: we don't have any running projects. The only thing we still have is our offtopic board and the newbie help board, which, of course, gets a lot of activity during exam periods where everyone needs help.

(and apparently, Flemish and Dutch schoolkids are incapable of reading the big sticky topic called FAQ... Half of the questions is like: TiConnect doesn't work! help!)
