I was linux-illiterate completely ignorant when I got it, and I didn't know as much as I know now. At least with GNOME, I'd say yes.

General Calculator Help / Re: Help. I'm pretty sure I screwed something up bad.« on: April 09, 2010, 10:10:57 am »
Seems this is the broken, older version of PTTErase, which works ONLY on 2.43. I thought I updated that thing everywhere.
I was naive enough to think it would work on every version of the os, but Brandon told me it wouldn't, so I included a check in the next version. Really sorry for the trouble, man. Did it work out? Spoiler For Spoiler: EDIT: if you manage to update the OS, everything will be reset to its usual status. 333

Definitely impossible in practice. You can only reset bits in flash. Else you must clear an entire sector, and back it up somehow, etc etc. So you were running OS 2.40 and you somehow managed to install my patch? Shouldn't be possible, it's supposed to check. Where did you get the download? (and about ROM fail: that only occurs when anything is modified on page 7X in OS space (excluding E and F), the certificate is checked in the ID test. PTTErase modifies page 77, so that's normal. I also get ROM fails every time I selftest because of all the patches installed on my calc ) 334

Yup, unsignedness should be the optional setting. You rarely need to go over 32K in a loop.

Mmmh... A hard choice. I think having it as an option is the best. (do you have support for optional arguments in statements? It might be the fifth argument of a For() instruction)

It's logical really. The graph buffer is 768 bytes. 8 px/byte. 768*8=96*64.

pronunciation is [hn'єfatafl] I think, you can practically read it as if it were phonetic notation. I'm not an old-norse expert, but I've heard some modern Norwegian. (got a norwegian-speaking friend)

Ooh, I like the idea! The only thing that bugs me is the page 'going busy' every few seconds in firefox. Having multiple omnimaga tabs open sorta makes me nervous now. Bah, I'll learn to live with it

Isn't there a flag (which would require ASM to set), to 'activate' the bottom row for normal drawing routines? (thus enabling the bottom row for BASIC programs) Just asking.

Great idea! I've always been wanting to write a book, but yeah, I seem unable to write any coherent fiction beyond 10 pages... 343

DJ, I noticed your ticalc profile link links to archive.org. I looked you up on ticalc, and it seems your author profile has disappeared... What happened?
