My main character Darcondia uses swords: Omega Blade...
Another character uses guns: Gundiva, Desert Eliminator...
All weapon weilding characters can learn earn a weapon called "Final Alternative"

Well actually to be truthful, I cant even hope to make a battle system that looks as good as Chrono Fantasy, but I hope to win with sheer content. As for release date...Sometime in Aug.

It is really nice to have so many good RPG to look up to. These great games set the standard that I looking to top. These earlier RPGs make my project more relevent. I am just greatful to have the support of top developers like the ones on this site.

Well the story line is absolutely 100% with 50% of it posted in project section. School has been a killer (5 and 6 hour long classes is like taking pure poison) but progress is occuring. Because I already have a system for enimies, I will begin work on my battle engine over the weekend.

yeah CDI is right. Thats why I said you need 100000 ram and 100000 archive to run TSOD. So that the programs have enough space to load into ram. If it didn't need ram to run...it would be a flash app.

No problem. Yeah the Output fuction is not that versitile on the 89 but is good for standard programming. I just use flib to write directly to video memory. This is way different from spriting something on a graph because you never actually switch from the home screen, you just keep overwriting the pixils.
updating each line would be WAY too slow in standard Basic. But you just gave me a really great idea...

It is kinda hard to explain the second half without spoiling the firs half's cimatic conclusion. Do you remember me posting something about the Seven Seals, well that is what the second part is about. That and the Sword of Darkness. You see, the game starts out in the castle from the pictures...and the character you start out playing is infact not Darcondia. After the opening mission, this character confronts Darcondia as he enters the castle. The game is playable recap of how Darcondia winds up at this castle on a completely different continent. After you play through his entire memories, you must fulfil his destiny as hinted in the very beginning. All this leads to the clash of two schools of thought and a revolution.

On his way back from the assassination mission Darc and his partner, Natshia split up to increase their chance of fleeing Madison undetected. When Darc returns to Meridian he meets a strange girl named Eonjay who reminds him of the first time he meet Natshia on Infinity Island to the north. When Darc reveals that he is a soilder for Meridianj she reveals that she was also working for the Emperor as a spy and had some crucial information about BlueBadge acctivity...
Anyway Darc tells Natshia about Tagon's alleged Mobile Gear and the two decide to do some investigation. The two sneak into the Meridian Army Corp. After making visual confirmation of the new weapon, Darcondia decides to have a little talk with his master.

That is so cool... B) Ok well let me strart of by saying that my story... The Sword of Darkness (The title btw is very misleading as the Sword is not a sword at all) takes place on a prehistoric world in Earth year 6250 AD. Confused yet. Well anyway the conflict taking place on this planet is actually the result of two religious organizations. A modern church vs the ancient church. The continent of Madison worships the holy mother Arkel, mother of all people. The continent of Meridian is becoming increasing influenced by the ancient teachings of Apollos, the sungod. Your character Darcondia is an orphan who has been raised by the Meridian leader Emperor D'arc Tagon. Darcondia has been sent on a mission to infiltrate the Blue Badge, Madison leading party, and kill the leader Boss Maximillion. On his journey, Darcondia finds out that both sides are on a search for the mythical weapon Invinsible. When Darc get to Boss and finally beats him, he finds out the the BB believe that Darc's master, Emperor Tagon has recovered Invincible and is planning to build a machine, a type of Mobile Gear, with Invincible equipped to it. What a load of crap! Or is it? More info comming soon in next post.
