Haha I know. Well think about what I told you when we were talking about the trip in the Europe topic, might tell you what kind of trick ;)

I haven't started it yet, just saying that is my planned entry if I get to it :P

So I thought I would announce my current idea for my project, if i do it. It is also subject to change. Anywho, my idea is a trick. Nothing special or anything bit thought it'd be better than nothing. Not saying much else, but just telling you guys before I leave.

I would like to help some with this when I get back so if someone can just sign me up for something random or a couple things. Doesn't bother me which. I just want something to do :)

Also just sign me up for as many as needed.

WIll you also emulate glitches such as MissingNo? Some people asked that to JoeYoung and tifreak, I believe

Aww, I was going to ask that :P

Oh well, I'll ask another. Since you said you will try to duplicate to the best of your ability does this mean crashing the game too? (Since the MissingNo glitch could :P)

Also, just a little side request if anyone can. Could we have a like a list of the area's then have who has claimed which and which are completed? If there already is an area for this I would like to see it because I would like to help once I get back from my trip and would just like an easy way of seeing which are taken and which aren't without going through and reading every single post to find out.

Hmmm, I can't really look right now but if anyone found one of the old Lass sprites from Blue, Red, Green, or Yellow (maybe?) that could work.

No problem, just keep up the good work :)

Ah ok, well that is good. Hopefully Cemetech will come around fully soon.

It's completely fine, I understand where you are coming from.

If people over at Cemetech are being rude, discouraging, and trashing this project then just tell them to shut up and be on your way. No one needs to hear it and if they just want to be mean just ignore it (I know, easier said than done (and extremely cliché :P)). No, I'm not trying to be mean to people at Cemetech, just saying it is not cool to put down a project or discourage it or anything like that no matter where you are from.

As for the feature thing, take it as a compliment. Don't worry about them to much but we suggest them because we just think of something that would really contribute to this and we say so we can help maybe in some way. For now I would say just write them down and put them on the back burner for later when you're ready for them. We just want to see you succeed :) You have all the support in the world over here on Omni ;D

Edit:
Couple posts late but oh well :P

meishe91: i'm not sure it'll work all the time under every circumstance, but my snippet of code works. (of course if you add in a dispgraph)

Ah ya, I was just referring to how you are using getKey as a test statement that returns one or zero. Ya, I also realized that we need the DispGraph :P

Ya, congrats on the progress. Would you mind sharing what wildcards are? That in turn would maybe tell us none assembly people what the code does, or a better idea.

He signed it because my calc didn't read it as signed, but the problem turned out to be that my calc just doesn't like the app for some reason.

Ah, ok.

optimized:
Code: [Select]
0→A
[0000000000000000→Pic1
[FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Pt-On(0,0,getKey(2)*8→A+Pic1

Oh, I wasn't aware you could use getKey like that. So I'm guessing it returns a one if it is pressed and a zero otherwise?

Other Calculators / Re: Final year into programming?

Thanks.

Well if you ever need help with anything you know you can always track me down either here or on MSN and I'll try my best. Granted, I won't be able to for a couple weeks because of my trip (though I'll try to check a couple times when I can) but when I get back I will.

Ya, I've noticed that about a lot of topics, not just yours. People ask one thing and get optimizations instead. I think we should start stressing the fact that help with code comes first then optimizations second.

Well you don't have to sign an app to play it on your own calculator. The only time you do, from what I understand, is when you want to distribute it to other calculators. Which I think what Quigibo's logic is since you have to upload to a computer to distribute it you can just sign it in seconds on the computer instead of waiting ten minutes for the calculator.

If I was a more advanced programmer and actually had projects and such I would love to test this. I wish you guys luck on your testing (to who ever gets to test).
