Oh, ok. So they are accessible, just not to any form of BASIC programmer without direct assembly help?

Does any one know why characters like those are inaccessible?

Ah, so all the items inside the program are actually tokens, not characters?

Hi, and welcome to Omni.
First thing about the stuff on page 11 that you mentioned. Yes, if you put the constants on the end it will run faster. It is explained in the document or in the Auto Opts document provided. I don't think it really matter though just because it is just in a test program to show the functionality. Another thing, that should really be in the Axe Pages thread probably. I'm sure Quigibo will be along sometime soon to answer your questions and such. 2225

This could be just being picky, but I think the letters look a bit thin. I would do block letters or something instead of single pixel letters. Just my opinion though. Looks cool though.

Well this has the 208 characters, so ya I think it does. I just reorganized the XTRACHAR.8xp program that is found on ticalc.org. There is however a solid square token that I have seen when executing an Axe program before that I never knew existed so...ya. That would be the only one that isn't in it, if it is even accessible.

Is there not a version that makes it so you can run it without a CD? (Like a legal version.) I just know they made Frozen Thrones so you could so I thought they would do it with this to, but who knows.

The reason you can't type his name is because we don't want certain people knowing he is here. I would change that last post. But yes, you are correct about that.
And ya, I know the files shouldn't be to big. But with the executables that you have in the menu system and then the executables in the games them selves it could add up. It was just a head's up though. By the way, nice screen shot. I like it but I would make all the boxes equal in size just to make it more uniform and professional looking. Looks good though 2230
TI Z80 / Re: Calcalca« on: May 29, 2010, 02:15:12 pm »I made a program that does all of these conversions in the same way and a whole lot more other features that I used for chemistry. I can show you the source code if you'd like, I never released it. So you already made a program like this? By the way, does anyone know of a PEMDAS-style evaluator in BASIC? It'd be really helpful for me when I add the operators. Doesn't the calculator already do this by default? 2231

Depending how you handle this the room for memory might get small fast because you have a 8 kb limit on executable code (right?).

Well you could have someone else read the question, doesn't have to be you. I don't know if it is possible with your current software, but you could have recordings of someone reading the question, then you do the answers in separate recordings, then you kinda just put them all together.

For mass I would change g to kg, well that's just me since I'm a physics guy.

TI-BASIC / Re: Extra/Hidden Characters« on: May 29, 2010, 01:03:21 am »I think the reason why Mac value increased compared to Microsoft is because of the iPod, iPhone and all their revenues from iTunes and other stuff. I seriously doubt their computer sales increased much, especially that now PCs can be just as good for multimedia development. I loved Mac OS style a lot, but Mac computers are so expensive compared to their PC counterpart that people will just go for a PC instead. Can't Mac OS now install on a PC, anyway? Mac I'm pretty sure still trumps Windows in multimedia development and such. (At least that is what I think, only reason I want a Mac...) |
