So, after much ado and debate, I have decided on a project to do with Axe Parser. Drumroll please... Half Life 2 On-Calc A complete remake of the original, I plan to support the whole cast, and that includes enemies. I sat down and tried to remember them all: :::Characters::: *Gordon Freeman (duh) *Alyx Vance *Eli Vance *Barney *Dr. Breen *Dr. Mossman :::Enemies::: *Combine Soldier *Citadel Guard *Headcrab *Poison Headcrab *Zombie *Fast Zombie *Antlion *Antlion Queen *Gunship *Strider :::Weapons::: *Crowbar ^o^ *Pistol *Shotgun *SMG *RPG *Crossbow *Grenade *Big combine gun thing that shoots energy balls *Gravity Gun ^o^ *Bug bait
Can you think of anything I'm missing?
Is it going to be a RPG or FPS?

you should sell the root beer i have a "soda dealer" in my school who buys 12 packs of soda, keeps them in his locker, and sells like 3 between every period. he makes like $60-$80 a month xD
It would also depend on the school You can get in a lot of trouble doing that.

Well wasn't it established that it was a limited audience anyways?

Well if you were at home you could just hook speakers up to the calc, that way you don't have headphones on for no reason and when you do hear music it is a surprise

Just as a little thing. You don't even need to run sound during the whole game. You could just do it for certain parts. Examples of what I mean are like when you pause the game and are in a menu, or in a shop buying, or for a pokemon game when you are healing your pokemon. Just a side note

Thanks, that is pretty sweet. I'm gonna have to go over it more though since I still don't quite understand. What would you even use though for your gravity acceleration? I mean gravity in real life is 9.81... m/s2 (and 32... ft/s2 but I don't think that would work very well on the graph/home screen. But I don't know.

Well ya, I just meant like one game uses L1(1-9) then another program uses L1(10-16) and so on. Wouldn't that work? Or is that what you were saying that you need to make them extra big?

Well I found it a couple times looking for games but never joined or really looked around. Then someone made a post about Axe Parser over at UTI and I looked a little more. Then you, ztrumpet, made some comment about Illusiat and I checked it out further and decided to join

Wouldn't the use of text sprites (horizontal or vertical) depend on the size of the animation?
