Yeah he really wants to know what technical stuff does the calc do, such as what ASM code is executed and how the hardware operates.

Okay, cool. I couldn't really tell.

Ahh. Oops. But now I'm curious, what DOES happen? RAM clear? Calc turns off? Do you just remove the batteries for 15 minutes?
You usually don't have to keep batteries out, that's only for rare cases.

Good. Las time my HP-50g crashed, the ON/CANCEL button stopped working, which means I couldn't turn it off without removing the batteries, and unless they were out for 15 minutes, the button stayed stuck.

Holy Cow! I bet that card would kill my PSU. Not like I need one anyway. I still have an Intel GMA900.

Unless your iPod is jailbroken and you have saved the SHSH blobs, you can only restore to firmware that apple currently signs. 4.3 is the newest, so it is still signed. 4.2 should be fine too. I'm not sure of anything between OS4.0 and 4.2, but apple won't sign anything older then 4.0.

Isn't that the same as restoring my own restore file?

I'm 99% sure that the backup files do not contain the OS.
You would need to restore with the old OS, and then restore the backup.

Might not be possible at all, Apple may not be signing OS4.0. Last time I knew they were was December.

Try this:
http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone4/061-7381.20100621.AzSP9/iPod3,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw

Once you have it downloaded, hold down shift while clicking restore in iTunes and select this file.

If Apple is still signing OS4.0, this should work.

My concern, though, is that it used to work fine in FF before. Maybe Netham45 broke something or FF broke something.

Does it works fine on FF4?

Just tested on FF4. Works fine here.

My request?  Make it work right for Firefox Version 3.6.x :P

As you can see, it shows as normal text for some reason as of late.

Works fine with Opera 11.01 (my favorite :)), FF3.6, FF4 RC, FF4.0 Final, and Chrome, all on WinXP.

Don't know about the CX, I haven't seen the inside of it. The board photos on datamath look the same for the CAS and basic touchpad models, but you'd run into an issue with the keypads.

Just learn the math like everyone else. Cheating is bad, mmm'kay?

Edit: And I don't think they are dumb enough to just send you a non-CAS case.

Wait I missed that post. That would be awesome if this was possible. O.O

The only problem is that such apps gets auto-deleted after being ran 16 times, though... (since the calc thinks they are trial apps). Take Axe Parser-generated apps, for example.

Whoah! LAME

They couldn't make a better trial system then that?

But if you used your own link protocol, could you send an app to another calculator without having to sign it correctly.

Can you?
