I'm really not trying to derail your thread, but does anyone have suggestions on getting OSLauncher to load DummyOS? Every time I try it, I get short lines on the display and the nspire locks up. (nspire non-cas, OS 2.0.1)
Also, do you know the size of the decompressed OS image for OS 2.0.1 CAS or basic?

By changing some strings in the OS image, you can make the document browser view all files in all folders. I can't publish it here because I have changed the values in the phoenix.raw file. Screenshots:
Sweet! OS 2.0.1 CAS?

His computer was, most probably, made during the first half of the 1990s At work, last year, I reassembled several ISA cards into a motherboard bearing a soldered AMD 386 SX 40, plugged one of several 52 MB HDDs with DOS 6.x & Win 3.1... and for good measure, a trackball, whose drivers are on 5"1/4 floppy disks labelled "Logitech 1989". Most parts were made in the first half of the 1990s.
Wow... It's been a while since I've seen/used hardware that old.

I'm afraid so.
How old is your PC?

1) Yes. However you need to use the ab/c button instead of (1÷2)+(32÷7) to get your result. The calculator can display it in two different modes, so it may come out as 5(1/4) rather than 71/14 though, depending on your settings. 2) Not without a program. I've attached such a program below 3) Nope. It can only return the numerical answer.
Awesome, thank you very much! I think I'll look for a Prizm in retail stores this week.

Wow, I just read the thread on Cemetech. I think I'll get a Prizm instead of a CX... (If anyone else didn't read it, it's right here: http://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5861) If anyone who has a Prizm could answer the following questions, it would be greatly appreciated. 1. Can it simplify fractions like (1/2)+(32/7)= 71/14? 2. Can it do prime factorizations like factor(221)= 13*17? 3. Can it add nth roots like (3*root(2,8))+(5*root(2,2))= 11*sqrt(2)? 4. Is input handled as well as it is with mathprint on the TI calcs?

I know that many people are already doing what I requested to the best of their ability, and that makes me very happy
Well, I try I'm really still learning calc programming in my (very limited) spare time, and cannot really test all of the programs on here, but I do try to encourage people putting effort into projects of all kinds.

Cool. Got any ideas on how the site should look?
Well, I'm not coollojazz, but I prefer simple website layouts. For a webcomic, you probably don't need too much in the way of menus or buttons. As for colors and style, that would kinda depend on the style of the comic. Maybe a notebook paper background, with a light blue/white colorscheme?

A good host http://www.heliohost.org/ has worked well for me. domain name suggestions Would you purchase a domain name or just use .tk or .co.cc? Features I should include on the site, a good size/format for the images, etc. I don't have any suggestions for features other then a full-text search. Image size would be best if kept under 1024x512 or 800x256. Edit: Ak! That's a lot of code. And I understand none of it. Is anyone willing to help me with code? Sorry no, as most of my programming experience is with somewhat complex algorithms (very boring stuff) in C or C# and I am still learning JS/HTML/PHP.

Wise words for building an open and friendly community (Even though I haven't posted any of my programs here)

I'm trying to start a webcomic. I've got a name (Frameless Comic) and all the other comic bits, I'm just missing the web part. Any advice or help on anything at all, anyone?
What kind of help do you need? (HTML programming, setting up a website, JS programming, etc)
