Looks pretty nice, though if the actual "woods" part were a little more maze if you threw some fences or tree stumps in it would spice it up a little more.
As far as length, would it be neat if we tried to hit the 288 hour mark (10 full days) as that would be a remarkable amount of length. If you made it so there were plenty of fetch the itm side quests, it could alow you to tack on time, as could fighting tons of enemies. As far as leveling up...perhaps level tops at 999 but the player isn't informed of level ups, they just find skill points available for their characters. Also, I think after a certain level (say 30), enemies that are >%40 weaker than you become very rare and their parties drop in size. 1173

that'd be easy...just have them begin to "flash" by inverting them when they are able...though I suppose the whole focus anytime might get complex, I suppose we will deal with it once we reach it...

well...when the new xlib comes out, you could have a program that only has the following data
prgmEXLEV4BM "prgmDEFAULT,prgmCUSTOM,prgmCUSTOM2,ect."->String 1 then find where there are commas and use that to draw a list on screen, then using xlib's copy archived ability, coppy the file you sub(ed into string 2 and have it load it into the game the owner would either manualy update the list or you could use a asm program to generate/update this prorgam with the data in it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hmmmmm...I smell a way to make xlib into a full blown shell (like mirage or crunchy) via a little basic programing 1177

xlib can use the ANS command, but there is currently a nasty bug if ANS is empty when you do it

Lets say there is battle: {ok, I kinda rushed to copy/paster that together}
![]() Well, there you go...a underlying map is used to draw the screen and the enemies are drawn on top ![]() the blue shows where you could put trees, graves, ect. in the map Layout: ![]() each enememy (red/yellow) is set 24 pixels apart verticaly and horizontaly While the players are all 16X16 and as such, are as showed on the right with the front man 12 pixels up, and the orange character 24pixels up. (not drawn to any kind of scale) and during your turn, the map scrolls left and a menu pops out ![]() When you/enemy attack or do something, it moves to a seprate screen and performs an animation ![]() 1183

yep, it has problems with the -> command inside of strings, something the tios is finiky about
But expr("{1,2,3}->L1 one works...so sometimes things need to get very complicated to get the desired effect 1184

err...
Suggestion: A new sport began, one in which players use telekenetic shields to batter a magnetic hover sphere back and forth between oponents...how ever, the government apperntly had some hidden intentions for the telepathy these players gained. On one early morning, a squad of heavily armed men entered a house looking to capture another one of these players. However, using his shield and one of his spheres, he launched an attack. A wanted man, what will be his fate? That story seems a little better, but eh... |
