Did you post the engine code? I can help you only if I know what your doing, though you might want to try the code I posted in the chosen one.

Other Calculators / Petition against KermMartian bashing on MC forums« on: December 12, 2005, 05:17:00 pm »
Yay for Kerm! Boo for flaming!
Ok, that said...there are some true jackasses in the ti community. That is true of every community...nintendo,play station, xbox, G4tv (actualy, everyone there is an ass), and every other forum/community. Statisticaly, a possion distribution says the more a community grows, the chance of no nasty people goes down into the .0000001s within a few dozen people. Anyways, I support Kerm...you just need to put a little more revision into the process (or get some one to revise your program ideas and help you conglomerate them into perfection) 1207

cool to hear you are going to switch...GM was a neat idea, but it isn't fast enough to be practical for a lot of games

Well...here are a few games I think possible but have not been done:
Castlevania: A side scrolling game...how quaint...why hasn't it been tried by more people (I failed, but some one else might not) The Sims: With 16X16 graphics, the game would probably be quite nice...isometric or not, I would like to see this in the future Panzer Dragoon: A flying/shooting on rails game, it would be nice to see Starfox: A star fox engine would be neat to see...as it could easily be modded from/to Panzer Dragoon Mega Man: While one was made...it was but a joke...we need a good mega man 1211

Are you still using GM? If so, you realy ought to switch over to C++ with open GM or direct X...as GM6 has high requirements and low preformace

well...the posted code does just that (X/Y are your screen X/Y, S/T are you map scrolled X/Y, Z/Theta/V are temp variables, W/H are your maps width and height, and you could easily modify which collisions should be walled and not walled)
