well, I have added yet more bg tiles (and probably will continue doing so until the final version ) as well as gotten 3 new levels fully done (with all the features used in them). I am still working on a number of things (like fixing the collisions on certain things, adding swinging crap, etc., some new enemies, more weapons, blah blah blah)...but those will all be next version if I didn't mention that already. I am thinking about instead of trying to feature all of the weapons on diffrent levels, lust throwing in a code after you beat the game to try out them all and be able to play the game again on a harder mode. Thoughts before I get the demo uploaded?

RAIN DROPS
A rpg currently in development, features are numerous, graphics are 16X16, the planned platforms are xlib assisted 83+ basic, 89 C, and pc. 83 version's title (3 level g/s) the game is currently on hold Progress:Overal: All damage, level, magic, and other calculations are finished; 83+ engine:start up/title prgram: finished map engine: rewritten with new object system map objects: map loading object, battle generating object, and a few others are progressing, many others are still unfinished. battle engine:converting to an "object" system still working towards a demo 89 C:having some difficulties with key input...currently not progressing until I get time to look into/understanding row reading (help pertaining therein would be much thanked...perhaps just a list of code snippits for each key?) Computer:not much to anounce yet except that the graphics are being expanded, music written, etc.

well, in this screenie (which has some distortion) you can see the new hud and some new stuff (batteries and a socket for instance) as well as another one of the new bgs and more tiles. These new enviroment chunks of crap won't be in the next release (they are still buggy) but the pushable battries can fall into slots, where they can triger other things to happen...a number of other items that can fall also now exist but can not be pused around and are also buggy -_- . A number of new tiles, some more effects yet (flames, blood dripping from impaled creatures, etc)

on 360: elder scrolls oblivion, quake4, a bunch of fps I don't remember the names of, and coming soon will be the Halo 3. On wii, all I care about is zelda and metroid (which isn't out for forever from now) and it is on 50 dollars less the the 360 cheapo bundle.
so, I could get a rev there are no games for, or I could get a 360 with fps...

yes, I made the floors and the reason there are still some black walls was my laziness...I just added a shotgun as well. I have a paper due thursday and a few labs this week, otherwise I could probably addmore goodies. I have a whole list of enemies to change...I plan to replace them with an actual scripting system some time soon (like the item and weapon system) to speed development

well, I plan to get the next version out this week! I can't believe how much I've added but I still won't get a chance to play with some of the new stuff I am putting in it till the next version yet. If you are curious, here is a screen of a level I quickly editted that background moves, I made a new better/longer song for it (sorry kev, still not megaman-esque) as I work on the old song and another one, have 13 items and weapons you can try out, obviously I have new bg and tiles (poorly implemented in that picture) and effects, menu that isn't fully done yet, some other stuff...yay.

I guess I am not suprised no one bothered...it is the same thing that has happened every time before...it is also why I resigning. Further, as so far only pixle art has had any kinds of submissions, I would suggest switching back as no one seems to want/ be willing to make anything more complex.

...they lack much color diversityand could use some more shading/dithering. Personaly, I think there are way to many MM8 mod sheets in creation so I won't much comment other than personaly, I think people should try to make sprites from scratch if they want to claim them as there own.

next release will be very soon, finishing up a few last graphics and building new levels that people will find easier. BGs, effects, gore, menu, and hud visual bling will be much nicer looking I hope. :psychedelic: ^ 240
