General Discussion / Where to start« on: December 05, 2007, 12:53:00 pm »
I use Acid Pro to create my songs.
Also, I use Sytrus as a softsynth plugin. There is a free version of Acid called Acid Express that you can download here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/Step3.asp?URLID=2300&SerialNum= I'm not sure if the free version supports vsti plugins, but if it does you can download Sytrus here: http://www.sytrus.com/ 184

Wow. I'm gone for a few days and look what happens
Actually, I kinda like the new layout. It's a nice change. However, the wreath thing looks like a mound of flowers that got chopped up in a blender 187

Music Showcase / Technoish song I made« on: November 21, 2007, 11:38:00 am »
That's just a reversed loop that came on a cd with Acid Music Studio.
I think the voice is an announcement at an airport since the loop is named "airport later". Now that you mention it, I think I do hear a voice saying Omnimaga  Haha, it makes the song that much better. 190

Alright, I've made a few changes to the song.
Edit - here's the most recent render: http://www.mediafire.com/?ct0ftyb71oj How is it now? Took me a while to get it rendered because of a glitch in Acid that caused it to freeze when it got to a certain point in the song. Still not sure what caused it 191

Did I miss anything EDIT: I actually saw a desktop filled to the max with stuff at work the other day. 192

Which synth should I change?
Should I change the synth that does the repeating 3 notes? Or do you mean one of the "background" synths? 193

I should release a readme
You can press up and down when in the picture selector to jump by a factor of 10. You can configure the default picture in the Options menu. Just set the pic to 7 that way you don't have to change the pic all the time. hmm, I think there is an error with the sprite paster. I'll upload a fixed version. You can keep everything archived, even the modules. The only program that needs to be in RAM is prgmImplicit I can't come up with a faster way to do scrolling The code is open source, so If you want to try to speed it up I will gladly give you credit. I can add a preview window, however, I'm worried that it might slow the editor down too much. I'll experiment around with it and see if I can't come up with a solution. And always, thank you for the comments, they are greatly appreciated. If there is anything that you think should be fixed/changed/added just let me know, thanks. |
