Ah yes, this is exactly the problem. GDB1 is stored within the program like I said. So you can't alter any values after compiling. When you do GDB1->V, you're merely assigning V as a pointer to GDB1, and so any changes made to V is really just changing GDB1. Try using something like:

:Fill(L1,[amount of data,0)
:Copy(GDB1,L1,[amount of data])
replacing "[amount of data]" with the amount of data, of course. Then just reference L1 instead of V and your app should run smoothly.

If you're trying to change the data in something like a GDB, which is stored within the program rather than in RAM, it won't work because you can't change the data of an application. Try using L1 or some other free RAM area for whatever data it is you have and it should work.

I like it. Very simple concept but a lot of fun. :D

3 things: I have to exit the whole game after losing in order to play again. Maybe be able to restart?  Also if the other players would shoot at directional angles (at the player and other players) that would be awesome. Is there a way to win? I keep losing, but it looks like the other people either aren't affected by paintballs or just respawn after a bit.

I must agree, I would have voted for this one if I didn't have an entry. I think in the end it will come down to this one, Pokemon Battle Factory, and the Flappy Birds just because they use the words "pokemon" and "flappy bird". :P

You can bypass the 8811 byte code limit, just use an axiom like fullrene or crabcake and it will run on any 83/84+ without crashing.

And with the way Axe compiles apps vs. programs, you have to change the code a bit to work. (eg. you can't change data in GDB's in apps) I'll take a look and see if I can find anything. :)


EDIT: Just skimming through quickly, I found some stuff like this:

This won't work, because when you compile the app, the data in GDB7NPCS is set in stone and can't be modified because it's part of the app. My bet is if you changed everything like this to utilize free RAM areas or some temporary appvars, most of the errors would go away.
