He wants to steal my last bronze cupNo, I'll probably be aiming for Runer's gold cups first since he has so many! (Whoops, did I just say that?)

Other Calculators / Re: Where did you get your calcs from?« on: August 11, 2010, 05:29:52 pm »A lot of you seem to have multiple calcs O_O.Me too. I have one TI-83+ from Staples that my mom bought for school. If I only knew I could play games with graphing calculators from the start, then I would have probably asked my mom to buy for me a TI-84+SE instead. 109
TI-BASIC / Re: Why never to use Goto.« on: August 10, 2010, 06:59:20 pm »
I don't think I have ever used Goto unless I am creating my own custom menu.

TI Z80 / Re: The Impossible Game« on: August 09, 2010, 05:54:06 pm »
Does it really work for the TI-83+ BE? I used MirageOS and when I tried to play the game (excuse me), all I got was a black screen (see screenshot below). I thought it was my calculator's fault but I tested it on Wabbitemu and it was the same result. I can still kind of make out the box as you can see in the screenshot but obviously I can't see where I'm going.

Okay, finally 5 posts! For anyone interested in my work, here they are! Note: I can tell you they are probably not as optimized as they should because three of my four programs were made two years ago. Also, you can probably tell I'm not much of a game programmer but I do plan on making games in the future.
If you would like to comment on them or make some suggestions, please don't be afraid to do so. I am willing to learn believe or not! Last but not least, enjoy! 113
TI Z80 / Re: The Impossible Game« on: August 08, 2010, 06:29:04 pm »
Yeah, that's good for me because the only calc I own is a TI-83+. I'll definitely try this game.

Yeah, I've read your other explanations before and they were pretty good. Definitely helps people who are trying to master TI-BASIC.

Nice explanation. I like the way you go about the code step by step which makes it much easier to understand (at least for me). I will certainly read all off it and learn. Thanks.

Introduce Yourself! / Re: Hi There!« on: August 07, 2010, 06:59:58 pm »Nice, a Patriots fan (well I don't follow NFL as much as CFL and hockey but it's still my favorite team and I was pissed after the 2007 Super Bowl )Yeah, me too! Curse those Giants! Thank for those kind words. I am honored to be able to talk to a programming legend. welcome! it's always great to see new members.I agree. United-TI has been quiet recently... Looking forward towards the peanuts....I am going to be a junior in high school and I received my TI-83 Plus in 8th grade. I first started programming when I noticed the PRGM button and since I was curious as always, I began to write simple programs. Through countless hours of studying the TI manual and performing trial and error, I figured out what all the commands were and how to use them in my programs. Ever since then, I have made some games...Are you one of those clones calc84 made of me, because that's my story too? No? Ok, good. I've been programming on and off so I'm trying to learn as much as I can again. And, no way, Peyton Manning & Co are going to be crushed this year, wait and see... |
