Omnicalc installs the Symbolic hooks.
So, Symbolic programs can run without Symbolic, with Omnicalc ? Ok...

The code I try to run:
Code: [Select] Input "f(X)=",Str1 and, several lines after: Code: [Select] Input "f(X)=",Str0 The code that runs very well, even without Omnicalc: Code: [Select] :Input "f(X)=",Str0 You see, my second code and the program which works are the same (even without the String>Equ it works.) 123

Yes I use the "real(" token. I added Omnicalc on the calc (what about hooks cohabitation problems between Omnicalc and Symbolic ?).
It doesn't work better for my program, and the other (Supramaths) still works great... 125
KnightOS / Re: KnightOS Translation Project« on: October 16, 2012, 07:29:44 am »
great
You can download the sources of KnightOS here: https://github.com/SirCmpwn/KnightOS (clic "Downloads") In the "build" folder, you can create a launch.bat file Code: [Select] build.exe --all and run it. It will create OSes and ROMs (to emulate it) for each calculator. (TI-73, TI 83+, TI 83+SE, TI-84+, TI-84+SE) LINUX AND MAC: you may try Code: [Select] mono build.exe --verbose --all but (chickendude tried) it gives an error.126

The principal author (SirCmpwn) has his files uploaded on his account.
You can copy those files to YOUR account by clicking the button "Fork" when you are on his page. Then, you can modify files in your account. When it's done, click the "pull request" button to indicate him you want to merge your code with his code. You should verify that he hasn't made any update between the moment you forked and the moment you want to merge the codes. SirCmpwn can accept or not to merge, and changes are applied. 127

Big up, but I have the same problem: I try to use Symbolic commands into a program, but it doesn't work.
Notice that the program you might know called "Supramaths" uses Symbolic commands too, of "real(12" type, whithout Omnicalc, and IT WORKS FINE. I wonder: for the same command, with the same Apps installed and the same arguments, SupraMaths works great and my program...gets Syntax errors. If I could, I prefer use "real" commands than the special Symbolic tokens (I'm coding with the old TI Graph Link), but I prefer those special tokens than nothing at all... Does anyone know what is missing to symbolic in my program ? thank you for your help... 128
KnightOS / Re: KnightOS Translation Project« on: October 15, 2012, 02:01:00 am »Will it be problematic to translate before completion, though? I am concerned that if most stuff constantly changes that it will be a lot more work to start translating it before it's finished or in beta stages than it would be if the translation started once KOS is finished and guaranteed to not have signifiant vocabulary changes anymore. We are tranlating the kernel only, the big menu, the settings menu, etc... All Programs for KOS are still indev, we don't translate them (the calendar, maybe a program interpreter, linking, etc...) In 1 hour Adriweb has finished the french translation, to show you it's very fast. So, anybody for German, Spanish, japanese, klingoln ? (You may add chars in the character set, no problem ) 129
KnightOS / KnightOS Translation Project« on: October 14, 2012, 07:52:05 pm »
Hello!
As you may have seen on tiplanet.org, SirCmpwn is working again on KnightOS. (Please, don't talk about SirCmpwn, talk about KnightOS...) There's an effort to translate KnightOS into various languages. On TI Planet, we are working to translate it in french, but if you would have your KnightOS in your langage, you can translate it yourself now I personnally make the charset with him, and we have incorpored accentued letters like "é", "à", etc... You can read the translation guide here: https://github.com/SirCmpwn/KnightOS/blob/master/TRANSLATION.md If you are interested in, SirCmpwn can create a special tree for your langage, and you are free to fork this tree to translate it. Thanks for your help. Persalteas 130

Nice...
I have completely rewritten the french tutorial, now with 15 detailed chapters (5 big parts or 15 little chapters) You can read/download it at the same URL : http://tiemulation.kegtux.org/Grammertutorial.htm Do you know when you're gonna switch to version 3 ? The 3 will be 2-page App, if I remember what you said in the appropriate topic. (And otherwise, excuse me to insist, have you dropped the idea of a 83/82 stats port ? Even a very little port with few features ? French students are waiting for it eagerly ) Thank you again for those updates, I like the Menu ! |
