Ok, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I am not killing this project just quite yet The bad news is that I'm going to have to scrap the current code and start over  There's not much else to say as of right now. I'll keep you guys updated.

Hey, 3rik! Welcome to Omnimaga! I have been reading Omnimaga for the past month or two. I've just been building up the courage to register.
Sounds like me If you are interested in Lua, I would suggest that you check out the inspired-lua.org site, where we have documentation of most things, as well as tutorials on how to use those funcitons.  Have fun!
