Walruses are love. Walruses are life.

Cool list, but I'd like to point out some things. First, nKaruga was originally for Arcade, then Dreamcast, then Gamecube (2002), then 6 years later Android, then Xbox and friends via Xbox Live, then PC ;D
As interesting as that lineage is, it's too much a mouthful for the article :P For all intents and purposes, it's PC *runs*

Other thing: do not use z80e. It's good to know that it exists, but it's so buggy it will crash your calc on exit. It will, it's a 100% known, unresolved issue.
As that is said in the linked topic, I will not add that edit (sorry), but thanks for the warning.

All other requested edits have been made!

Isn't "where's derpy" already older? Anyways, thanks for the compilation! ^.^

Well the latest reply was in the timeframe, even if the latest update wasn't. I decided to include it anyways.

I would like to point out that I completed Dodge 68k a few days ago

And thanks for putting the 68k section in

Thanks for telling me, as I did not know that. I'll update the post later.

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Dear Omnimaga
« on: November 26, 2014, 01:56:14 am »
Guys. This debate is more ideolical than anything else (about subforums). VVVVVV didn't have the same polish and replayability as SSBO does/will have. It also didn't help that the author begged multiple times for a subforum. Ikaruga deserved one, imo, but it didn't have a large enough following to be considered "major" in the eyes of at least 3/5 of the admins' minds. While I do not agree with the decision, I understand it. It doesn't help that there are too many subforums as well.

That said, I would like to see a liason position open up, so he/she can work on the openness while the admins work on admining. Maybe just with view perms on the staff boards.

I think I'll set up a Calc environment first. Then I'll try some more fancy stuff.

So I'm VM'ing Arch!

This is the one I set up on my PC at home. As you see, it has mate, and that's about it. I'll take suggestions here for what I should do with it.
Spoiler For large:

I also set one up at school (with the teacher's permission, no less). I'll get pics of that once it is fully operational.

Good job! Do you think this can have applications in z80 programming (is it faster, more memory efficient, etc.)?

TI Z80 / Will [Insert Monochrome Program or App] run on the CSE?
« on: November 20, 2014, 10:21:36 am »
If it is for the monochrome calcs and is not TI-Basic, the answer is flat out no, and it's not because the creator of the project hates you. It's TI's fault.

First of all, the include files for the calculators are different. Completely different, which makes the assembled code for the monochromes impossible to run on the CSE and visa versa. Axe gets compiled on calculator, with the same include file as the monochrome assemblers, so Axe programs can't run on the CSE.

Second of all, even if that weren't the case, the LCD drivers on the CSE are too slow to run most monochrome programs, in addition to the resolution being different.

Third of all, there currently is no way to emulate the monochromes on the CSE. Sorry D:

TI-Basic programs will run (for the most part), but the graphics routines might be off (and will be off most of the time).
