That and rotc() and rotcc() are for 8x8 sprites. Mine are 4x4.
This super-secret project is almost to a proof-of-concept release stage. Hope to post about it soon.

Matref: Yeah, I have the data for that sprite, but I've been too lazy to implement it.
DT: Is there a one-time-per-loop command that will let me do that?

That's a problem in the rendering, I think. It calculates weather you've been hit or not, then it renders the frame. If I change the order, it should be better with the spikes, I think. Maybe. I'll try later, but I'm too lazy at the moment
This was untrue... I did fix the bug, however, but decreasing the left-right detection area to fit the size of the actual sprite (6x8) instead of the 8x8 that I had before... Seen here: Zip attached, as always. Enjoy!

* pimathbrainiac can't even do that because he doesn't have an orion or have a 2.5mm jack converter (b/c parents, go figure *shrugs*)... @DJ: yeah, I'm working on it

Nice, as always. Wasn't I the one who originally wanted to do a 3d portal, anyways?

Hello and welcome here! Have your complementary peanuts! I don't have an HP Prime, sadly, though I want one. It's great to see more HP users on Omni now, though!

Sounds awesome. I might compete again this year! For those of you who are english-speaking like me, here's a google-translated version of the original post: Hello everyone! : D It's official, the TI- Contest begins December 26, 2013 at 16 hours French time ( GMT +1) ! I certainly hope that this fourth edition of the competition will be very successful . , D are allowed :<br /><br />* TI- Basic Z80 (except PCSE ) ;<br />* Axis ;<br />* The Z80 assembler (except PCSE ) ;<br />* Nspire Lua .<br /><br />Those who know will notice the removal of the category TI- Basic 68k .<br /><br />In 2014 , the competition will be divided into two parts: the qualifications and finals.<br /><br /> qualifications <br /><br />As their name suggests, are the qualifications to qualify for the final : they are composed of one or two subjects imposed by category.<br />Present since the first edition of the competition, the introduction of these subjects has imposed make the single TI- Contest by mode. They obviously used to highlight the programming level of each candidate, they also demonstrate their ability to follow instructions and constraints imposed on them ( hence the name given subject ) .<br />The main advantage of these charged topics is that it allows to separate the participants objectively : in fact, they all make the same program !<br />Upon completion of these qualifications , all participants are scored on 300 points, and the best in each category qualified for the final.<br />Small detail : in the category Nspire Lua , there is only one round of two weeks, scored on 300 points. In the other categories , there are two one-week each time , the first being recorded on 100 and the second 200 .<br /><br />The final <br /><br />Qualified participants undergo two new events : the oral examination (20 minutes without preparation) and test machines ( three hours 20 minutes to upload the programs). The oral test , which is carried out with a member of the jury, is a series of questions on the programming language in question by the category in which the nominee is , but also on the TI calculators in general. The goal is to be as efficient as possible , in fact most issues are linked , the faster the number of points to win is important! The test machine for its part, consisting of several programs to achieve in the time allotted. A driver throughout the thread about permits, we hope, a playful side in this event .<br />These two events are recorded on 400, for a final total of 1100 points (already trying to exceed 1000: P).<br /><br />dates<br /><br />Registration begins December 26 , late registration on Jan. 13 to the jury. For others, you can register as the first round was not completed within the category concerned.<br /><br />[img] http://www.ti-concours.com/content/cal14.png)
Oral will take place from April 5 to 11 , and testing machines held on 12 and 13 April for the final results on April 28 . You will notice that the competition begins early to finish early (compared to previous years ), so that there is no conflict with everything contest / year -end exams / etc .
The jury
The jury is composed of volunteers satisfying the following conditions: * Be at least 16 years * Know how to program in the category in which it is registered (logical) * With good calculators to test * Speak French and / or English ( English jurors are accepted now ) .
Obviously, if you are a minor , your parents must agree. : D The jury is responsible for design topics (qualification, oral test machine.) It determines the scale then used to rank the candidates . It was also he who made oral pass, hence the importance of knowing how to speak correctly. Note that this takes time, especially in TI- Basic Z80 , so wear a volunteer only if you are sure you have enough time!
Lots
Surprise! : D But there will be , for sure , and we will tell you more by the end of the month , I promise. , D [img] http://www.omnimaga.org/Themes/default/images/gpbp_arrow_up.gif [/ img]
To register ...
The website is scheduled to open enrollment to 16 hours battery on Dec. 26 . If you're afraid to forget the meantime , do not hesitate to pre-register here [/ url] so that we send an e -mail at the beginning of the competition ( you receive one automatically if you participated in 2013) . I certainly hope that you will be as many as possible to participate. ; D
Well, that's all, thank you for your reading .

bump.
Well, There was a bug where right-facing spikes wouldn't kill you. This was due to a mis-typed number in the code. It's fixed in the attached zip.
