A mechanical piston, wheels (or camCRANKshaft) drive shaft, which drive piston.

EDIT: like in a car

How about you do a piston-elevator design?

I think you should just keep trying the mechanical elevator lift. Did you check the tightness/looseness of the mesh everywhere?

Wal-Mart doesn't sell many calcs until back to school, so we'll see...

I saw one at staples a few weeks back (the 84PCSE)

At that point, the person shelving it said they've had them for about a week.

Well, you ARE the piano deity of Omnimaga, so we might just have to let you play whichever one epic7's tiny hand's can't play ;D

So epic7 and I are going to collaborate to play Three Preludes for Piano (three pieces played one after another) by Gershwin before the summer's out

I'm going to be playing prelude 2, and epic7 1 and 3.

We'll post our videos all at once when we finish in this topic.

Miscellaneous / Re: "What If" Discussion

What if I never started coding in the first place?
Higher grades, No robotics, and a very unhappy life full of work and study (the only things I would be able to do).

What if I hadn't randomly typed ticalc in the url entry bar, and let auto-complete do the rest?
No Axe, no calc programming, no Omni D:

Well, good news, both those things happened. I started programming Java (I want(ed) to be a backend programmer, so I haven't learned the Swing libraries yet) about a year before I discovered ticalc. That was around when Axe got POTY (I think, maybe it was its feature), so I looked into it. Googled Axe, found the thread here. Lurked. Got an account later last year for help. Stayed. Started VVVVVV. Lost the game. Did a bunch of school. Got on break. Picked back up level design for VVVVVV. Started my Contest #10 entry. Made this thread. Posted in this thread.

I live close to a Fry's, so I get adapters for $2, tops. It's great!

Miscellaneous / "What If" Discussion
« on: June 25, 2013, 02:50:51 pm »
You know when you're talking to someone, and you think: "What if I didn't meet this person?"

Or you are on Omni, and you think: "What if I didn't discover Omni?"

Discuss your "What If"s here.
