I am not very good at Axe yet, so I didn't join the Axe contest :(
Right now I can only make a game where you walk around the homescreen.

Introduce Yourself! / Hello
« on: August 05, 2010, 08:42:58 pm »
I am now going to introduce myself.

I am program4, and I haven't been on omnimaga for that long.

I program mainly TI-BASIC for the TI-84+, and a little ASM and Axe.

How did I find this website? Axe Parser. I read the documentation and there was a link to axe.omnimaga.org, so I registered. I forgot how I found Axe Parser, though.  :P

I have it now, and I applied the patches also  :D
Now I won't have to worry about ERR:VERSION!  :)

Other Calculators / TI-84 Plus OS

Currently I have the 2.40 OS. I didn't get 2.53MP because of the issues with it, but I am considering upgrading to 2.43. Are there any good/bad things to upgrading to 2.43?

TI Z80 / Re: Homescreen Game Pack

These games are great! I liked how you used u, v, and w in your program.  :) When you release the game, though, someone downloading it probably wouldn't want to see "Guess the Number" as the first game he/she tries.  ;)

I love Spike Doom and Dodgeball a lot.

509. You have another computer specifically for storing files with an .8x* extension, and you used up all the memory.  :P

I think that TI's sole purpose of releasing the OS was to block Ndless, and they just put some random features in to make the new OS look great. So, from now on, you probably shouldn't get anything TI releases, because they might mean to backfire at the community.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Features Wishlist

It would be impossible to rotate an 8x8 sprite by 1 degree, because the sprite is simply not big enough. Maybe a 1 degree rotation would work for a much larger sprite, but it wouldn't look that great.

I voted sprite rotation/flipping, because most other people chose that ;). Also, it might come in handy when you make a game that requires rotating of an object (like a ship).

Besides, multiplayer linking is only useful when you have two people, so it can wait until a later version release.

TI-BASIC / Basic to ASM?
« on: July 28, 2010, 09:41:21 am »
I downloaded a random BASIC program on ticalc.org, and ran it through the ASM File Unsquisher, and there was a long list of hex codes. If you typed it in your calculator, would the program actually be in ASM?

I really love this game. Actually, Netham45 was easier: just use the bombs when you are close to death, so I beat Netham45 in hard but only medium with DevBlock.

When are you going to continue this project?

Now I got Command Prompt to work, and the program works when I put it in Wabbitemu :), but Command Prompt still says:

program1.asm:5: error: Can't recognize 'B_CALL_ClrLCDFull' as an instruction or macro
program1.asm:6: error: Can't recognize 'Id' as an instruction or macro

I do have ti83plus.inc in my folder, but I don't see what the error means.
