(I hope I am in the right forum)
Well, I was wondering if this was possible, I really like C# and it would be awsome for it to be ported to the nspire
Though I don't know the possibility of this happening because C# is not compiled, it is interpreted..

well, every summer I go to this skating place that works as a fun place for me and my friends, and a nice way to get me out of the house >.> SOO! They hold a talent show every friday (most of the participants are 3-5 year olds jumping >_<) I decided to mix it up, I told everyone I was singing "Love story" (only one of the counselors was in on the joke) and gave my CD. Everyone who knew what a rickroll was was shocked when it played, and I was a huge hit..... needless to say, I pwned everyone

"We sell Texas Instuments graphing calculators, the kind you can synch with your computer to put simple programs onto them. A customer called up with a problem his kid was having. They had tried to download a couple programs to the calculator, but neither worked. After a bit more conferring, it transpired that they had tried to put Quake III and WinAmp on the thing.
I wonder how that kid thought he was going to listen to music on his calculator?" (quote from computer stupidites)
1. I think there is a quake for the calc
2. We can play music, using things like calcmod and mt3

I understand that to use ndless on an nspire, one must have OS 1.1. Sadly, the OS comes at a price, a bug where the LCD does not turn on properly.
I was wondering weather the community could somehow fix this, with a permenant patch, or something.

This group is starting to gain some notoriety around Omnimaga, I figure we should have a topic on them http://groups.google.com/group/tinspireFrankly, I am quite scared how these people are gaining popularity, they are trashing the TI community, praising the TI's censorship of asm and praising the useless features of the nspire. Discuss how you feel about them

Ok..ok... I contacted ti about the entire nspire 2.1 being non-downgradeable. Here is the response: Alec, Thank you for contacting Texas Instruments. This is a very good question you have about the TI-Nspire handheld. Once you upgrade your handheld to OS 2.1, you will not be able to re-install any OS before OS 1.7. I regret any inconvenience this may cause you. Another resource you can use to find answers to your questions, example calculations and other information is our Knowledge Base. The Knowledge Base is accessible to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. http://support.education.ti.comI hope that you find this information helpful. If you have further questions or comments, please feel free to send me an email. Warmest Regards, Doug Fincher
