actually, i have seen a video of 57. a guy put 2 calcs together, using some sort of ASM lib to manage the connection. he was computing a mandelbrot almost twice as fast as a single calc could.

what about during self-test, when it goes through those different patterns on the screen? unless my eyes deceive me, there is that weird thing where it phases from dots to horizontal lines. i don't know about you, but that looks actually flickerless grey to me. (unless the contrast is down then?)

It's kinda sad though that there's only 4. deskhedron can have up to 9. aside from that, yod'm IS better! no halting on this one either, and there's quick access to desktop 1 in case you get lost. and it's completely windows 7 compatible!

if you have xp, you might get lost! i have windows 7, which has very complicated and fancy desktop theme system ('Aero' i think it's called). anyway, only the basic gui gets implemented on the extra desktops, so the original one always looks different, so i never get lost.

is it possible to hook up Doors and a USB driver to get real mouse input instead of the arrow keys?

if the appendages are hanging out into the middle, they can only be supported from one direction: their base. if some are facing in different directions, you obviously can't accommodate them all at the same time, so turning it on it's side doesn't work. see attachment for an example: imagine it as a cross section of a semi-hollow sphere

how does one go about implanting audio rickroll in their post??!?!!?
182 - you've spent more money on batteries than anything else

Build it upside-down.
what if there are 'stalactites' and stalagmites', ie, appendages on top and bottom? you'd have the same problem no matter which way you turned it

it can't make ANY shape though: take for instance an object where there is an appendage hanging down with no support underneath. As the printer builds up, the appendage will have nothing to rest on and fall down. i suppose that, as long as the object does not completely enclose the appendage, you could print some sort of soluble or meltable material as support and get rid of it later.

176 - you know what happens when you let your 83/84 count all the way up during phase 2 of self-test 177 - you can change the name of a program WITHOUT using Rcl to copy it to another one

159 - You spent hours in the MirageOS source code trying to find out exactly how it saves those whales 160- You put an extra ':' at the beginning of BASIC progs so you never have to leave Mirage 161 - Since you never graph with your calc, you don't put AxesOff, FnOff, etc. in your progs because it's always like that anyway 162- You written a ray-tracing engine for your 83/84 that beasts POV-Ray 163- You start to worry about how you're going to change the batteries WHILE it's ray-tracing so it can finish
