TI Z80 / Re: Jazz: JavaScript TI-83 Plus emulator« on: September 16, 2011, 11:37:57 pm »
Sounds like a great idea! I would love to use a TI-83 Plus emulator on a public computer.
What are you going to do about the copyrighted OS, though? 229

Wow! Great find! While it does make sense that they use similar hardware on the viewscreen side, it seems like a bit of overkill.
Hopefully this will give us new insight on the Nspire hardware and or boot code. 230

Wow... That's humongous. Last time I tried downloading a 1 GB file, it got corrupted along the way. I can't imagine downloading a nearly 4 GB file. X.X
As far as the interface itself, there is a point at which simplification adds to the complexity of something. I have a fear that if they simplify their OS too much, it will just make it harder to navigate. 231

DJ, do you make your melodies first or make the chord progressions first? Just curious.

Music Showcase / Re: Xaminaga« on: September 14, 2011, 12:15:45 am »Thanks. Do you mean the very begginning or when the beat finally starts?Yeah, I mean before the beat starts. Also, I have recently recognized a lot of video game music borrowing patterns from classical music. Another example is the credits theme of Super Mario Brothers 2, which borrows the chord pattern from Pachelbel's Canon. 233

Supreme combination of dissonance and harmony!
I really like the chord modulations in the intro. EDIT: 3:15 sounds like Bach's Toccata and Fugue 234
Humour and Jokes / Teh Colorz« on: September 13, 2011, 01:40:30 am »
Wow, this has to be one of the most WTF song I've ever heard. It's not that funny in context, but I can imagine sending this video to an unsuspecting victim.
EDIT: This one is even more over top. 235
TI-Nspire / Re: More optimized, faster Ti 84+ emulation on Ti nspire(Idea)« on: September 13, 2011, 01:01:59 am »hm, would it be possible to somehow make a ti-84+ emulator for the TI-NSpire without using a switchable keyboard?Sure! All the programmer has to do is map different Nspire keys to the virtual ti-84 plus keypad. 236
ASM / Re: Space for Fourth Buffer« on: September 10, 2011, 05:03:40 pm »
Thanks.
Before I asked the question, I was using $8000 and hoping that I wasn't destroying anything. 237
ASM / Space for Fourth Buffer« on: September 09, 2011, 10:03:28 pm »
Currently I am using SaveSScreen, appBackupScreen, and plotSScreen for display buffers. Where can I place my fourth buffer of $300 bytes?
Thanks in advance. 238

Would there be a way to select lists and matrices so they can be copied to the current text buffer? It always bugged me how TI was too lazy to do it themselves.
